I just received my FedEx box from Ritani and was so excited to open it only to find out the order was incorrect. I was very disappointed. I immediately emailed and called. It's the holidays so they sent me to voicemail, but Laura H did call me right back and she was able to get me a return label quickly, and advised she would do her best to expedite my exchange. The mistake turned out to be mine, but the website made it a bit confusing, regardless, Laura helped me and hopefully can get my ring back quickly.

My diamond earrings are absolutely beautiful and the sparkle is incredibly. I am slightly concerned with weld that attaches the post to the basket of the earing as there is some flexibility. But the backing feels very secure when wearing them. Initially there was a lag in communication on the progress of my purchase but once I inquired they promptly got back to me with an update. Their selection of lab created diamonds is vast with price points to match. I would recommend Ritani to anyone seeking quality lab created diamond products.

I heard about Ritani through a friend who was looking to buy an engagement ring and she told me how well-priced Ritani was compared to other online vendors. She was right! I bought a gorgeous lab round brilliant that was priced much less than what my husband paid for my engagement ring a few years ago. I've been wanting to upgrade my stone and was very happy to find a beautiful stone based on my specs for less than $1,000. The stone was shipped and delivered within the timeframe Ritani stated on their website. Minus one star for the website navigation itself. The search filters are good, but you are unable to filter by crown and pavilion angle, so you must do a lot of digging if you're picky about those specs. Also, the search results do not show the diamonds at first glance; it's just a stock photo for each result. Sometimes if you hover your mouse over the image, you can preview the stone but not always. What's also frustrating is that you can't right click on the search results; I like to open many tabs so that I can cross-compare stones. Because of this, you are forced to click on the links one at a time and since the website automatically resets itself when you hit the back button, you have to start over and find where you left off. I can’t speak for their earth mined loose diamonds but I can say that their fancy shaped and fancy colored lab diamonds are severely lacking in selection and inventory. Cut is king and most of the stones they have are only “very good” and “good”, which isn’t “good” enough for me. The fancy colors are pretty weak in color, although I’ve seen a few nice pinks and yellows. I’m disappointed as I wanted to add an asscher and fancy blue oval. I've also heard some mixed reviews about their customer service and their jewelry/settings, but I have experience with neither, although these reviews did factor in with my decision to look into jewelry pieces from Ritani. I did notice that some of their jewelry was priced higher than their competitors, so make sure you shop around so you know where to get your money's worth. Overall a pleasant experience. I would not hesitate getting another loose round white stone with them in the future. For my lab asscher and blue oval, I’ll have to look elsewhere.

I was helped by Sarah creating a custom engagement ring and she could not have been better. From creating my custom design to answering probably 20 questions, she was always prompt and helpful. The ring itself turned out better that I could have imagined, the 3D sample does not do it justice. Additionally, for the price I paid, this is 3x the size of ring I could’ve gotten anywhere else I’ve seen. The only issue I had in the whole process was when I got my original pricing for the ring, it could be more black and white on total cost. I wish I would have known my total cost including the stone and tax, so that I could’ve budgeted better. Admittedly, this problem could’ve been in part due to my ignorance on jewelry pricing in general. End of the day, I have already and will continue to recommend Ritani for anyone looking to get quality diamond jewelry.

The ordering was easy - selection of the setting, diamond, etc. Difficulty reaching customer service via telephone but they are responsive via the "chat" tool and an e-mail was responded to fairly quickly. If they sent more updates during the time between the order date and the shipping date, that would be helpful, too. The people I dealt with were very nice and very responsive.

UPDATE: 8/03 **Was called back and received a vmail from Marla and was finally given an ETA. It’s unfortunate that it took a negative review to get an answer but I appreciate it nonetheless. Thank you! Updated rating from 2 to 4 stars.** ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've been a Ritani customer for years. I've done multiple transactions- from purchases, to exchanges, to upgrades- and all have been great until they updated their website about a month ago. They were able to give you an ETA almost instantly in the past, but now, it's like pulling teeth to get an answer. Customer service reps have mostly been courteous, although there were a couple of times when I've followed up that it felt like I'm being rushed off the phone. I wouldn't be calling as much and a little less annoying to the reps if I were able to track my transaction online. It's been almost 11 days since they've received my ring at the studio and still no ETA. What's going on?

My wife loves the necklace. It arrived a little over a week after I ordered it. It looks great and fits her perfectly. The only thing I didn't like was that I was not able to track my order through the website, as Ritani had been updating their system during this time. This doesn't seem like it should take a week to do, and I had to call to get details on the order. Even so, I do believe I will be a customer of Ritani's again.

I had no idea that once you buy (meaning go through the process of finding a diamond you and your fiance love and putting it into a setting) that it doesn't mean you get that diamond. This was heartbreaking for me and my love. It felt like the carpet was pulled out from under us. I was told this happens with all online shops (James Ellen, Blue Nile, etc.) However, several employees worked with me to help me find a diamond that was comparable. Was it the exact one we wanted? NO. But no matter where I looked (and trust me, I looked) I couldn't find anything more comparable than what I was presented at Ritani. It was an unfortunate blow to a happy time but Ritani worked with us to make it so we were happy with our purchase and I am thankful for that.
