I attempted to purchase an engagement ring from Ritani using the financing set up through sychrony. Ritani was very helpful in getting my credit card approved. They assured me a diamond and delivery date. The evening it was to be shipped they informed me the stone was not available at this time. They offered me other stones that would be available by my proposal date 10 days later. I was contacted again the next day letting me know my second choice was also not available. Now they are offering the choice of stones thats price exceed the credit limit on the card I've already opened. I am now stuck with a credit card that only works at Ritani. I'm not sure the diamond I selected was ever available but they did their best to locking me into purchasing from Ritani.

I purchased a setting and a diamond — the charge went through my bank account — only for them to tell me in an email eight hours later that that particular stone is no longer available and oh, “here’s one that is similar.” It’s not. It took us three weeks to find that diamond. Unacceptable, Ritani. Borderline fraudulent, deceptive business practices. And even worse, I just checked and the diamond is still on its website as available, waiting for the next sucker.

Diamonds fell out of ring after a few weeks.

Ordered an engagement ring through a retailer and wedding band directly from Ritani online after viewing samples at the retailer. The design was gorgeous and the samples were great quality. The finished product was terrible quality compared to the sample - milgrain thin, smooshed, or missing (completely flat). Looked like they just pressed a square shaped cut into the metal, not round dabs like milgrain. The carved leaves were different between the two rings, one completely lacking definition, just an oblong shape with a line through it. Sent back via the retailer to get them remade and Ritani reluctantly did, but did not offer any discount or compensation. My rings were delayed two months and the finish product is still subpar quality. They fixed most of the milgrain (but not all) but the leaves on the band are still terrible quality blobs. I did not have time to send them back again before my wedding. The day I went to pick them up there was another customer complaining about missing milgrain on her Ritani ring and the retailer said they stopped displaying their products due to numerous quality issues. Maybe they can handle a simple ring, but I don't recommend them for a detailed design. If you do choose to order a Ritani ring, order through a retailer so you have someone to help get them remade.

First i bought a bridal set from ritani and they did not ship the set but only shipped the main ring. After calling them and working with someone there they were able to verify that they never sent out the other ring (which i knew because i never got it) so they said they would send it out shortly. After waiting i finally received the whole set, and proceeded to propose to my girlfriend, who sadly didn't accept the proposal and we are now separated. Upon calling ritani about a return they said they were sorry but it was 32 days since i ordered and there return policy is only 30 days and i would have to look elsewhere to find a buyer. So still stuck with an expensive ring thats never seen an owner. I should have asked if it was 30 days after i finally RECIEVED my whole set but i didn't. I ate the loss.

After spending over 10,000 dollars at ritani, and 3 times getting a damaged and improperly engineered ring, they would not replace it. I had the ring tested at a local jeweler and the metal was flawed, still no replacement. Do not recommend using them at all.

Terrible experience. Taking for ever to get my money back from them

Don’t buy online. Buy at your local jewelry. What you see is not what you’re going to get. I bought a ring that’s true value in a local jewelery was 70% less then what I payed for it.
