We had an amazing experience with Revolution Prep. My son was prone to panic attacks in standardized tests and had always scored poorly. I'd hired a private tutor for him before and wasn't sure whether to try again. (After several months of tutoring with the first company, his scores didn't budge.) But I had a long talk about my son with Jake (head of the branch office at Rev Prep) and he convinced me that tutoring was worth another try. He really listened to my description of my son, and then hand-picked a tutor whom he thought would be the right fit for my son. The tutor, Kristin, was an amazing fit. She made my son feel comfortable, built up his confidence and turned around his whole attitude towards testing. He stopped having panic attacks his first official try (!) and his test scores went up over 40 percentile points. He's now able to apply to all the colleges he wants. We are so grateful. Kristin performed wonders and was so caring, supportive and encouraging. We couldn't have asked for more.

We used Revolution Prep twice for our daughter to prepare for ACT. Our sales person Susan was great and my daughter had Ana both times for her tauter and she was great.

The representatives and tutors were very helpful and willing to work with us on the cost, the best type of tutoring, and the dates and times. The communication and follow up was excellent. Per the recommendation of the tutor, we decided after a few sessions to change from group to individual tutoring. The representative worked with us to customize the remaining sessions with the balance on our account and the timeline of the target ACT. The video tutoring worked well in the comfort of our home, and I esp. liked the video clips in the session follow up emails.

I am a college counselor whose school partners with Revolution Prep. I've been impressed with the excellent service provided to our students and families and appreciate the professionalism of the Rev Prep team (especially our local person, Dan Carr). I am also a parent who watched my child use the services in a group class and with an individual tutor. I am very pleased with the organization, feedback, and personalization of the test prep programs. My child had a great experience and felt confident and prepared to take the SAT.

My daughter’s score did not improve a bit after several months of 1:1 tutoring. I noticed that the first 30 min of the class the tutor was just chatting with her, ‘in order to build connection’. I told her to stop waisting the time and go to practice. In general, the tutor was useless and absolutely not qualified to teach math.

Great SAT service and the tutors are very helpful and accommodating to your needs. They get back to you very quickly and teach very well.

My son just completed his six week online SAT course with Karin. He thought it was a very helpful and thorough course, and he thought Karin explained the material very clearly. He feels prepared to take the SAT after taking several practice tests on his own and spending time on the weekly homework. He highly recommends this prep class and enjoyed taking it online with Karin.
