I highly recommend Revolution Prep for SAT tutoring. My son’s experience was amazing! His score increased 160 points after only a handful of sessions. Special shoutout to David Zimbalist for being so easy to work with and for pairing my son with tutor Andres Jarquin. Andres was able to help my son look at problems in a slightly different way that made all the difference. I couldn’t be more pleased with our experience with Revolution Prep and will be using them again for my daughter.

My twin kids needed different levels of support with SAT prep, college essays, and classes in their junior/senior years in high school. Revolution Prep, especially Vasilios, was always there for us to match my kids with the tutors that were the best to keep them improving consistently. We saw an increase of over 200 points in their SAT scores with Rev Prep tutors’ help! One of my children had almost perfect Math score in his last SAT and very high English score even with English being his second language. I would highly recommend working closely with Rev Prep if your child wants to increase their SAT scores. Rev Prep will recommend the right tutors as your child’s level and SAT scores improve. Now that my children are in college, the foundation that Rev Prep built is keeping them strong in their college classes. We’re thankful for all the tutors and the guidance.

My son tutored with Nick Ulfik approximately 10 times over the summer of 2026 for his first ACT test taken in mid-September. He clicked well with Nick, which was really wonderful for their working relationship. Together they honed in on what my son needed to focus on to get his scores increased from his pre-ACT test in the spring. Indeed, we just got the scores back and he increased by 3 very important points overall, and 7 points in the section he really needed the increase! Scheduling was easy peasy for me!

Revolution Prep has been incredibly supportive and helpful. David Zimbalist was very responsive and truly walked us through options and helped develop a strategy. My son was connected with a tutor - Allison Peck for SAT tutoring, writing help, and help with his college application process. My son really liked Allison and she was so approachable, flexible with scheduling, and gave him true individually focused support. I highly recommend Revolution Prep and will be enlisting their help again with my younger child!

Even if I was unsatisfied this company took amazing care of me.

Try to become an ethical company. I was a long time client. I recently inquired about additional tutoring and was scheduled and invoiced for a series of tutoring sessions that I never agreed to. Not only were the tutoring session scheduled without my approval, because they had my bank information from previous transactions, they withdrew thousands from my bank account without my knowledge. I requested a cancellation and refund, and was told a refund would be received in 7-10 days. It’s approaching 30 days since the error, but have not received my refund. The customer service representative is no longer responding to my text or calls. This is not an ethical company. Reporting them to my bank and the BBB. See forums for reports of other deception. The tutors are just people trying to make a living, but the salesmen are unethical and not to be trusted.

Really great tutor! We don't have scores from the test as yet, but I am confident that Revolution was a great help. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the 48 reschedule policy -- unexpected things come up for families!

I was very impressed with Revolution Prep overall. I am a psychologist who works with teenagers, so my perspective is based to some extent on hearing many students talk about the rigors of the SAT and the various ways that students prepare (or don't prepare) for this important milestone. Revolution Prep does an exceptionally good job of communicating with parents about their student's progress. This made me feel that the time and money was well-spent. Secondly, the tutors (we've had 3 between 2 daughters) were skilled, patient, diligent, encouraging, and professional. One-on-one tutoring is very effective. One of my daughters also took a group SAT prep class from another organization. The instruction was so slow and general that we didn't even finish the class. Finally, Revolution Prep uses practice SATs and a very detailed and comprehensive diagnostic system. This helps students to understand exactly which kids of math and language questions they need to work on. This targeted practice is highly effective in terms of directing the students' efforts to the right kinds of learning and practice. As the college admissions process swings back towards more schools requiring standardized testing (SAT, ACT), Revolution Prep is what our family is relying on to best prepare our daughter for the college application process.
