My son needed new retainers and after being a dental hygienist for 25 years I knew the price that the orthodontist was charging us was ridiculous. I no longer worked in the field so I couldn’t make them myself. I decided to go with retainers direct and and very happy that I did. Very high-quality retainers with a very quick turnaround time. The instructions were very good for people that don’t have any dental experience. I highly recommend them.

Great customer service and well fitting retainer for much less than a traditional retainer service

The service was great. Shipping was fast. The only problem was that the instructions say to mix the two putties well. And after around 20 seconds it begins to stiffen. I was not able to bite down to make a very good deep impression and so my retainer does not show enough "tooth anatomy". I still wear it. But I'm going to have to do it again.

I've used the same retainers for a long time. Like most people, I got them at the dentist. After some digging, I decided to give Retainers Direct a try. I got their package, saw their video explaining how do it and sent them my molds. It was really straight forward and very easy to do. The molds turned out way better than I expected! They feel so nice, even better than my old ones. I never write reviews, but I had to tell others who are also out shopping for retainers about my amazing experience! Ordered a set for each of my sons. Great quality retainers. Vendor is responsive. Timely delivery. However, making the molds not as easy as I thought. Putty hardens too quickly. Challenging to get the correct thickness so gumline is captured properly all around... Maybe more putty? Luckily, still had models from their orthodontist. Overall, good value!
