This product was easy to use to make the impression. I had contact with their customer service about the delay of the USPS which worried me due to possible fitting issues once it was received. There customer service was prompt in answering my concerns. When I received the retainer it was tight on my daughter's bite but she was able to use it more comfortably after a day or so. My advice is to opt for the quicker shipping options and pay the extra shipping fee. The price of the retainer was very reasonable. I would use this company again for retainer replacements, if needed, in the future.

my retainer did not fit

Here is an update to my post below. I decided to pay the additional fee for more putty. I took more impressions and sent them in. I received the retainer today and it is perfect! Thanks to Darren and the team, the retainer fits and is comfortable - well as comfortable as retainers can be. I also changed the rating from 2 to 4 stars. Original review When I received my retainer, it contained a note from the technician (Lisa)indicating she had a challenging time with my impressions; especially, on the upper left side. I appreciated the attention & the note. Unfortunately, there was/is an issue with the back left side - the retainer is too long. I didn’t give the two stars because of Lisa’s work. I gave the two stars because of the response I received from Darren when I reported the issue. In his email, he indicated that they had there best person to work on my retainer, and, as I could see, there wasn’t a lot of anatomy. There was no, sorry they did not fit properly. It was more of, well we did the best we could and the only way to fix the problem is to take new impressions. Here the link to order more putty. While I believe the team takes pride in their work, there are going to be times when things don’t work out as planned. My email simply asked for next steps and I received attitude. Lisa- thank you for all of your work and your efforts, they are greatly appreciated. Because of the response I received when reporting an issue, I’m not sure I will send in new impressions- nor will I recommend this service.

Happy over my purchase and have ordered another retainer, wondering when I will get it!

Ridiculous. Told be my impressions were not good enough after almost two weeks after I paid. I'll just go to the dentist office and get impressions made. I did get my refund back but not the time wasted

I wanted to wait before I made a comment, I feel as long as you give a good impression you are golden! I been wearing mine at night, I had my braces off for 5 years and my old retainer was very loose and cracked. The one I received was definitely tighter but did the trick! So very good, better than going to the orthodontist by fact.

I've been meaning to replace my nasty 9 year old retainer and decided to try Retainers Direct. The kit arrived quickly and after my third try I got a pretty good impression. When I received my retainer it came with a handwritten note saying my mold was a bit rough (which I knew). Fortunately, they were able to tweak it so the retainer fits great. I'm so happy I decided to give Retainers Direct a try!

The process from ordering to receiving my impression kit was simple. The instructions were easy to understand with the video. Shipment was fast I definitely recommend ordering an extra set of putty I made a mistake but customer service is great and worked with me until I got my retainers
