I’ve entrusted Kyle Claussen of Resolve with all of my physician contracts and compensation questions since my graduation from fellowship in 2018. Kyle helped me negotiate highly favorable one-year and 10-year contracts with my employer, including coverage of my malpractice insurance, tail insurance, and my family’s healthcare costs. Kyle has been resourceful, thoughtful, accurate, and responsive to all of my questions and concerns, especially during the pandemic. His knowledge of the physician contract market and legal prowess are unmatched, and I’ve been so grateful to have him in my corner throughout my medical career.

I am a new fellow grad who just signed my first contract. Prior to doing so, I was searching for a contract lawyer (as everyone around me recommended doing so) even though I was signing with a hospital, and did not expect them to make many changes. I picked basic review and was assigned Kyle who was extremely detail-oriented in answering all the questions that I posed in my initial email. He recommended many suggestions based on my concerns regarding how certain languages in the contract puts the employed in a disadvantage. While I did not end up making too much progress with negotiations with only few minor changes (which is not unexpected given a big hospital system is not very flexible in the first place, and considers many of their language to be standard), I still learned a ton from his basic review. This is the most reasonably priced option I have encountered for quality service. They also paired me up with Laurie (benefits analyst) - while I also did not end up having changes to the benefits package which was reportedly standard for the hospital's employees, she went through the entire benefits package and I also became more knowledgeable about what plans are appropriate for myself. I would certainly recommend this to family members and friends!

Skyler did a great job in reviewing and explaining the contract in detail. He was extremely prompt and thorough. His revisions certainly enhanced my contract with a large health system.

Kyle has been amazing to help me navigate through the negotiation process. I had received 2 offers from 2 different hospital systems which were both very enticing. He was every thorough and attentive despite receiving thousands of emails from me everyday. He remained focused and composed while replying to my questions and how to proceed with the negotiation process. At the end, I declined my top choice which later became my second choice after their stiff approach to the bargaining table. Not only do I end up with the stronger of the 2 hospital system, Kyle’s presence had my sign on bonus increased from 5% of gross salary to 15%. Of note, this hospital system is not known to be open to any type of negotiation. I strongly recommend Kyle for any type contract review!!

Absolutely amazing service from start to finish! Was able to speak with lawyer directly and discuss my concerns and what was important to me about the potential new position. Attorney went through entire contract with me and pointed out key information in the contract and then gave his recommendations. The company updated the contract and returned to me for review. I then forwarded to attorney for final review. This was a painless process thanks to the outstanding support from Resolve. Highly recommend!!!
