You booked a non-refundable rate at a Las Vegas hotel three months in advance. The non-refundable status of that rate was disclosed verbatim at checkout and required affirmative acceptance before payment was submitted. You called us shortly after booking and acknowledged during that call that you had selected the wrong dates. Our support agent explained that the rate you selected was non-refundable per the terms you accepted, which is accurate. Our agent also walked you through the self-service modification option on your account, which would have allowed you to change the dates and apply your original payment toward a new booking. You declined to proceed because the hotel's availability for your corrected dates only included suites at a higher price point. That is a function of hotel supply and demand at the property for those specific dates, not something within our control. Our system offered you the modification path in exactly the way it's designed to work; the pricing on the new dates reflects what the hotel was actually charging for available inventory. This was disclosed prominently at multiple steps throughout the booking process, including the rate selection page, the checkout page, and the final purchase confirmation, which required your explicit acknowledgment before the transaction was completed.
