Very misleading! Was booking off the hotel site for 1 night. Checked in hotel. Upon arrival the Marriott property had an off damp smell. Once in the room after an hour bad sneezing and itching. Throat is getting sore, eyes watery. Highly allergic to black mold I never used anything in the room. Even took pictures to prove I didn’t use anything. Went down to the front desk to get a refund and check out of the hotel and that’s when they said they will not refund. It was not booked through them. Trying to contact anyone from the site is a nitemare. No option to speak to anyone regarding the issue at the hotel and mold in room as I was highly allergic and having a hard time breathing. Over $300 for a night at Marriott Renaissance in Addison Texas the front desk woman in the evening was rude. I had to ask multiple times for a print out for proof of checking out and not staying at the hotel. Told her about the situation she didn’t care to even accommodate. Don’t ever stay there or book through this site!!!

Cockroach’s in the room, in 5 days the room was never cleaned, had to clean and make my own bed, had to ask for clean towels. I’m on vacation and I shouldn’t have to do that. Couldn’t go to another place because we planned our vacation around the rate of the room. The staff however was very nice. I wasn’t offered any compensation for the roaches.

This is the dirtiest place I have ever stay at. It had trash everywhere, ants on countertops, nats all over mirrors and walls and mold in bathroom. The carpets were wet, stained and curtains were broken and torn. The bed / mattress was the only positive if the entire stay. On two occasions I went to front desk to check in and get my key reprogrammed and no one was at the desk. I waited a total of 40 minutes to get assistance. I have multiple photos if you want them.

Worst travel experience ever! I found on their website a MGM grand Skyloft for an amazingly low price. It was middle of summer in Las Vegas so I thought they were just trying to get people in. We arrived at 11:30 because they said they offered early check-in to at least use the pool. Spent hours on the phone. We were not able to check into our room till 830 at night. This was only after reservations portal told me to go ahead and pay for the room and they would reimburse me. Three weeks later they still tell me it’s “ in process.” Even though they told me two days after my booking that it would take 7 to 10 business days. I am so tired of businesses keep our money for weeks so that they can gain the interest and we end up paying it. Never ever book with this site!!!!!

Please do not use Reservations Portal! You will pay more and their service is awful. In my opinion, they are running a scam on people who book through them. Please do your due diligence and check other sites before booking with them. Update to Reservations Portal’s response: Do not book with them! Read other reviews. The reviews are overwhelmingly negative. You will find much cheaper rates elsewhere. I blame myself for not doing my due diligence and reading the reviews of their service. Please don’t make the same mistake.

This company's website comes up at the top of a Google search. It clones or mirrors the actual hotel website I was intending to book through, which I realized only after completing the reservation. I immediately contacted them every way possible, within 10 minutes. They claim the reservation is nonrefundable. There is no person to talk to. The rate was more than the hotel's actual rate. SCAM Also, the "confirmation number" is not an actual hotel confirmation number, and it arrived via text from what appears to be a spoofed number - a landline belonging to a retiree in NoCal. A legit business does not communicate that way.

I would not recommend Reservations Portal to anyone. I booked a stay in Atlanta at above the hotels direct rates (2 rooms) on accident. The stay was charged immediately and non-refundable. To top it off, they charged $644 in fees, essentially one room night stay on top of the room prices. Stay away from this site.
