Hi Brandon, we’re really happy that you were pleased with the flavor and so sorry you were disappointed with the size. As I mentioned before, as noted on the paper we placed inside your box, as well as our website, we do ask to reach out to us with photos anytime there is an issue so that we can properly resolve a potential problem. As stated on our website regarding the steaks: (approx. 10oz each/Listed weights are an average and may vary slightly.) We try our hardest for consistency but these are part of the challenges of raising animals regeneratively and not conventionally. Conventional beef will almost always fit into a perfect mold each time, same size, shape, consistency, but for us that is nearly impossible. Each beef we deliver is grass fed and finished from the day it’s born to when it is harvested and this sometimes creates inconsistent sizes in the primal cuts amongst animals and may occasionally affect appearance, weight and thickness of individual steak cuts. But we do encourage reaching out to us with photos so that we can get a better understanding of what you received. It’s the only way we can understand if we sent something that we shouldn’t have. It’s also important so we can address it with our processor. Again, I’m very sorry about that Brandon. We truly do appreciate the support for our small family farms and regenerative agriculture. 🙏🏻

Hi Chad, thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We really appreciate that. Typically we have great feedback on our steaks, so I’m really sorry this didn’t happen for you. As stated on the paper we placed inside your box, we do ask for photos anytime there is an issue or weight discrepancy so that we can get a better understanding of what you received and address a potential problem in case something was sent in error. Regarding the liquid, there should not be an abnormal amount of liquid in the packages as our beef are dry-aged for 7 to 14 days before packaging. As we try to buck the entire conventional system of the meat industry, our products will not always fit into a perfect package or will be the same each time. These are part of the challenges of raising animals regeneratively and not conventionally. Even grass fed/finished beef varies from one farm to another and from one grass fed/finished beef to another. Conventional beef will almost always fit into a perfect mold each time, same size, shape, consistency, but for us that is impossible. Each beef we deliver is grass fed and finished from the day it’s born to when it is harvested and this sometimes creates inconsistent sizes in the primal cuts amongst animals and may occasionally affect appearance, weight and thickness of individual steak cuts. We are small family farms and use small family owned processors that hand cut the steaks. We don’t have the equipment to do that. But what we can offer consistently is the health benefits of our grass fed and finished beef. We truly do appreciate you giving us a try Chad. Thank you again! We are super grateful for you!🙏🏻🥰

Although we do strive for our products to arrive frozen, it is confirmed safe by the USDA to refreeze and consume as long as your products are 40° or above. Looking at your tracking, it looks like your order was running behind and did not get delivered to you on time. Unfortunately, the carriers can delay our boxes from time to time. As stated on the paper we placed inside your box, we ask our customers to reach out to us when this happens so that we can help them properly resolve the situation. Hi Larisa, I’m very sorry for your bad experience. Like I stated in our email communications, when the oxtails are cut, the pieces are in various sizes since it is the tail. They will not be the same size, as shown in the picture on our website. I also explained that during transit with the amount of abuse the boxes go through, occasionally the packages can obtain micro holes which can cause the packages to lose the seal. We examine all of our packages before placing inside a box. This only happens during transit and is still perfectly safe to consume. Bigger and bulkier products like oxtails have a harder time keeping the seal. I did refund you for the package that had the thinner part of the tail. But without seeing what you received in the other packages, it’s hard for us to know how to properly proceed since we don’t what you received. I can assure you, the smaller piece was part of the cow tail towards the end, and not from another animal. We don’t put other animals tails in with the oxtail. Again, I’m very sorry. We appreciate you for giving us a try. 🙏🏻
