Very tough meat
Was excited about getting my order. The meat we received was very tough. This was a major waste of money and time. I gave one star because the packing was exceptional but the product was horrible. Not buying here again!

Hi, I’m very sorry to hear of your experience. Typically we have great feedback on our steaks so I’m very sorry this didn’t happen for you. I would love to have your order number so that I could take a look at what you ordered. We do stress how important it is on how our steaks are cooked. Cooking a grass fed, grass finished steak is very different from a grass fed, grain finished steak and it’s important to follow certain prep and cooking methods. What we try to help people understand, is that since we don’t feed any grain, it’s extremely difficult to make every beef finish exactly the same each time and it will vary from beef to beef due to genetic differences or seasonal differences in grass species they are grazing at the time. So although it’s the healthiest way to eat beef, one beef may not always be as tender as the next, one may have more fat than another or one may look different than another. We are not a conventional operation but small family owned farms using small family owned processing facilities and our meat will not be what you might find at a butcher or in the store. But what we can offer is the consistent health benefits of our grass fed and finished beef. Even the fat in our meat is loaded with vitamins and minerals and tons of nutrients. Again, I am very sorry for your experience. We really do appreciate you giving us a try. Thank you very much.
