Hi Arthur, I’m so sorry to hear you haven’t been happy with your latest batch of ground beef. We haven’t changed anything. Typically we have great feedback on our ground beef so I’m very sorry to hear this hasn’t happened for you lately. We always ask our customers to reach out to us directly with photos of the products and label when there are any issues to help us resolve any potential problems. I’d be happy to reach out to you for more information if that’s ok. Thank you for the support you have given us. We truly are very grateful for you! 🙏🏻

The quality of the ground meat was…
The quality of the ground meat was good, but not great.
Very coarsely ground, and a lot of grissle, made for a chewy eating experience.
Flavor was 3/5 as well.
Not all that impressed, really.

Hi Bill, we really appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. We’re so sorry the ground beef didn’t meet your expectations. That’s not something we typically hear so we are truly sorry it didn’t work out for you. We are very grateful that you decided to give our small family farms a try. Thank you again!🙏🏻

Packaging was really bad- oblong shapes…
Packaging was really bad- oblong shapes and pools of blood in the meat- makes it tough to open without making a bloody mess. That said, this was the first bad experience I’ve had after may purchases.

Hi Jonathan, thank you for your feedback. We appreciate that. As stated in my email to you about this issue, we are aware of this problem and I’m very sorry about that. We support 3 small family owned processing facilities for our beef. One of our processing facilities informed us they were having some issues with one of their machinery which caused the odd shape packages. Since the packages are odd shaped and not even, it can cause the blood to pool in areas. As I mentioned, they did let us know they are working on that. Please know it’s not a reflection on the quality. I can assure you, the meat is the same and the taste and quality should not be degraded whatsoever. This is only a matter of the packages being shaped odd instead of a perfect square and will only be a temporary issue. I hope you can be patient with us. We appreciate you and your support Jonathan. Thank you!🙏🏻

Good products, but expect the lower end of weight ranges on items
I like ordering from farms who don't keep animals confined to small cages their whole life and feed the animals a more natural diet. I always prefer ordering from a place that sells stuff per pound ($8.00/lb) as opposed to a set price for a weight range ($32.00 3-5 lbs) if you get the 3 lb one it kind feels like a rip-off or in this case they also do approximate weight so I ordered 2 16oz tenderloin guess what neither one was 16 point something in weight, but both were a decent amount below (this happened on multiple items). The products are already expensive and I get that it takes more to raise the animals this way, but then to pay a price they would find fair for a decent amount more of the product and always get the lower end doesn't leave a positive impression.

Hi Dan, thank you for taking the time to provide feedback of your experience. We really appreciate that. There are many factors as to why we don’t have the capability to adjust cost based on per lb meat sold, but at an estimated weight. We sell by an average guaranteed weight for a fixed cost. I’ll try to explain in short. Because we are a true grass fed/finished(pasture raised for pork and chicken)operation, the animals grow at different rates and finish differently since they aren’t pushed with grains to pack on weight. So sometimes your meat will be on the higher end of the average weight and sometimes it will be on the lower end of the average weight. That”s why our website states “listed weights are an average and may vary”. Our margins are very tight. Larger operations can sell price per pound but we are small farms that work with small processors and don’t have that infrastructure. If you are wanting a guaranteed price per pound, you might look into a bigger farm operation. Smaller, regenerative farms can’t usually offer that guarantee. But what we can guarantee is quality meat raised right that’s healthy for your body. These are just a few of the reasons to help get a better understanding of our pricing. However, if we sent something that was considerably under the average weight, as stated on our website and the paper we placed inside your box, we do ask to email us with photos of the underweight meat so we can try to resolve the issue. We truly do appreciate you giving us a try Dan. Thank you so, very much!🙏🏻

Hi Dustin, thank you very much for your feedback. We’re so happy to know you’ve been pleased with the meat and very sorry to hear you have had issues with the packaging. We realize this does happen from time to time and I’m very sorry about that. Inside your box we placed a paper called “Good Things to Know”. The issue you had is one of them listed on that paper. During the shipping process, our boxes can take quite a beating. The frozen meat moves around, especially as the dry ice starts to dissipate. The packaging can become very hard and brittle at times due to the extreme cold temperatures inside the box and with the extreme movement of the boxes, the packages rub against each other which can cause micro holes, tears or damage to occur. We do carefully examine each package before placing into a box and would never place a package that has any damage or a broken seal inside the box. This only happens during transit. We don’t like it when this happens either but it’s extremely hard to ship frozen products with the amount of abuse the box goes through before it reaches the customer. The only resolution we have come up with is changing to a thicker plastic. But more plastic goes against our values and additionally it would raise the cost of our meat. Again, we’re very sorry about that Dustin! Please know how much we appreciate you and your support!! We are super grateful! 🙏🏻😊

I like the meat
I like the meat
The packaging is what I don’t like
Every package I received had some areas of freezer burn 😖
Response from repprovisions.comSep 5, 2025
Hi Cynthia, Thank you so much for providing your feedback! We are so happy you are enjoying the meat. I’m really sorry you have experienced some problems with the packaging. We always suggest reaching out to us anytime there is an issue. Located on the paper that we placed inside your box is some important information about your order when it arrives. As stated on that paper, sometimes during the shipping process the packages can rub against each other and can cause micro holes in the packaging. When this occurs and if air reaches the meat, ice crystals can form on the meat. I can assure you it is not freezer burn as freezer burn takes many months to occur. The ice crystals will in no way degrade the taste or the quality of the meat. I’m very sorry that you have experienced this. It should not be happening every time so please email us and let us know which packages of meat you have experienced this with each time. Thank you Cynthia! We truly do appreciate you and your support. It means the world to us!🙏🏻🥰

Not the Quality I Expect
I was disappointed in the quality of one of the skirt steaks in this order and last month the pork chops had more fat than meat. The chicken is consistently good.
Response from repprovisions.comSep 2, 2025
Hi Jeanne, thank you so much for taking the time out to share your review. I’m happy you were pleased with the chicken and very sorry you weren’t happy with the skirt and pork chop. We always encourage our customers to reach out to us when there is an issue so that we can try our best to help make it right. We understand grass fed/grass finished steaks do have their own challenges when trying to cook the perfect steak since they are very different from grass fed/grain finished. We do have special prep and cooking tips we like to share with our customers when they reach out. Thank you again Jeanne! We truly do appreciate you and your support. 🙏🏻🥰
