It's been over 7 days since it shipped and I haven't received the ground beef I ordered. Rep told me if it's cool then we can eat it which is not appealing and if warm I have to file a claim with the insurance that I luckily purchased. The meat was very expensive - I should have just bought local.

Hi Jamie, we are so sorry to hear UPS did not deliver your order. It’s just as frustrating for us as it is for you and not an experience we want for our customers. It looks like we did reach out to you yesterday to inform you we heard back from UPS and unfortunately it looks like your order was lost during transit. Since you purchased the package protection when you placed your order, you are fully covered and will either be issued a refund or reshipment. If you will just follow the instructions that were sent to you through the ShipInsure email you were sent when you placed your order, it’s an easy process and you will be fully taken care of. We hate when this happens too and we hope you understand we try our best to get our packages to our customers but unfortunately, it’s out of our control when this happens. Again, we are so sorry. It’s not a common occurrence for our packages to get lost and hope you will give us another chance. Thank you Jamie!

UPS wasn’t able to deliver my order
UPS wasn’t able to deliver in my gated community since I wasn’t home at the time. Usually they have a device to open the gate. I will need a refund and I also would like to discontinue my subscription.

Hi Joyce, I am so sorry to hear UPS let you down on getting your order delivered. For future reference, you can create a personal account with UPS to leave special delivery instructions for the driver such as a gate code to come through your gate. We use this platform Trustpilot so our customers can let us and others know how we did as a company. We do ask to be notified directly if there are any issues with your order. If you could please email us at [email protected], we will make sure to get you taken care of. Thank you Joyce.

Hi Herbert, I’m very sorry to hear you had a bad experience with your steaks. Typically we have great feedback on our steaks, so I’m really sorry this didn’t happen for you. Grass fed, grass finished steaks do have their own challenges when cooking the perfect steak, as they are very different from a grass fed, grain finished steak. We try to help people understand that since we don’t feed any grain, it’s extremely difficult to make every beef finish exactly the same each time and it will vary from beef to beef due to genetic differences or seasonal differences in grass species they are grazing at the time. So although it’s the healthiest way to eat beef, and even though you may have had grass finished beef before, one grass finished beef may not always be as tender as the next, one may have more fat than another or one may look different than another and sometimes even smell different from another. If you have any steaks left, we would love to share our prep and cooking tips with you. Let me know if you are interested and I will be glad to email those to you. We truly do appreciate you giving us a try Herbert. We are very grateful!🙏🏻

Apology …
Good morning I wanted to apologize on my behalf I didnt mean the disrespectful word it wasnt my intention i was just very upset about how I was being treated and I wanted to explain to you that I called the number to explain twice and I said the number was not available and I took the haunted thing as an insult and I got offended by it it wasnt my intention to hurt anyone again I apologize
Response from repprovisions.comNov 3, 2025
Wilhsia, you reached out to us about a campaign email we sent out that was letting all of our customers know our Halloween sale was almost over. In this email it states,
“(Customer Name), missing this Halloween treat might haunt you for weeks!
You stated in your email you were upset because we used the words “haunt you”. This was an email that was sent out to all of our customers that are signed up to receive our campaign emails. It was in no way directly related to you literally meaning we wanted you to be haunted. You never spoke to anyone at REP Provisions but only responded to our campaign emails. Additionally, although you spoke to none of our customer service representatives, you continued responding to the emails which I have copied here.
“Good morning I didnt appreciate the email you sent me it was very hurtful and It wasnt nice what you said to me about the haunting me part for weeks I didn't appreciate it and I didnt deserve that thank you”
“And if you cant treat me with respect like the way i wanna be treated then I will just Unsubscribe from the Rep emails because the things you say to people isn't nice thank you”
“And I hope it haunts you too Bitch”
Since none of our customer service representatives spoke to you, there was no one that was disrespectful or mean. Like I said, this was an automated email sent to all of our customers. However, we do believe it was very disrespectful that you called any of our employees that name.

Poor customer service
My re-occurring order was sent without any e-mail confirmation to give me an opportunity to make changes. I was charged more for shipping than the product. Very unhappy with your company.
Response from repprovisions.comOct 22, 2025
Hi Clare, I’m very sorry to hear you were unhappy. We always send out reminder emails before a subscription renews a few days beforehand to give the customer an opportunity to make any necessary adjustments. It’s very important to watch your junk or spam folder when you are a subscriber in case the reminder emails end up there. We sent your reminder email on October 11th and your order renewed on October 14th. We also sent you another email when it renewed. If you would have reached out to us and let us know you did not want the order or that you wanted to make adjustments, we would have been happy to do that for you before it shipped. Again, I’m very sorry. Thank you for giving us a try. We truly do appreciate it. 🙏🏻

BEWARE If I could write negative stars
BEWARE: Poor customer service and unacceptable packaging practices.
My box of meat arrived a day late and immediately raised red flags. The contents were only slightly cool, and there was no evidence of dry ice in the box—no residue, no bags, nothing. This was especially concerning because this meat was intended for my 6-month-old son.
Upon opening the packaging, the meat had a foul odor, clearly indicating it was no longer safe to consume. I contacted the company immediately and provided all the information. Their response? They told me I should have taken pictures — of what, exactly? A warm box of spoiled meat with no dry ice?
They claimed to have video footage of dry ice being added to the package, but when I requested to see it, they were unable or unwilling to provide it. No refund or replacement was offered, and the tone of their response came off as accusatory, as if I were making the situation up.
Fortunately, the order was under $200, but that doesn’t excuse the lack of accountability. I’ve ordered from several reputable frozen food companies in the past and never encountered something this unprofessional. I do not recommend this company and will be sharing my experience widely to warn others.
***Their response to this message is hysterical. They sent me a video of a box of meat getting dry ice. No indication of what was in the box. Nothing. Just someone putting dry ice into a box. Don’t let them scam you. I never changed my words. I have always said the meat was cool to touch, but questionable which is why I reached out to you to begin with if this was the norm of your products. I have ordered from Seatopia and force of nature and even when products have been delayed there has still been dry ice in there. My box had no indication there was ever dry ice. Why would I go out of my way for $175 order like this and make stuff up. I opened up the meat the very next day of arrival and it had a foul odor. I let you know it has a foul odor. Regardless if this box ever had dry ice in it. The fact that it was delayed in 90 degree weather I’m telling you it’s spoiled. And all you say is too bad. That is poor customer service and people should know what they are getting involved with.
**** At this point, it’s beyond frustrating. Regardless of your video or any claims about how the package was handled, the fact remains: the food is spoiled and cannot be consumed.
Your repeated references to your company’s “honesty” are not only irrelevant, but frankly insulting and it feels as though you’re implying that I’m being dishonest. I have offered to return the product. I’ve asked for either a refund or a replacement of just the meat, not even the beef sticks, yet my concerns continue to be brushed aside. Terrible customer service that we can all be honest about.
*****You continuously responding to this thread, says a lot. About you as a “customer service representative” and the company you are sadly representing. It feels like more energy is going into managing reviews and responding to this post than into actually keeping your customers or making things right.
What’s been most upsetting is the way I’ve been made to feel throughout this whole process, as if I’m being dishonest, when all I’ve done is report that the meat I paid for arrived spoiled. I’ve offered to return it, asked for a partial replacement or refund, and still, it feels like I’m being dismissed or blamed for something completely out of my control.
At this point, I really don’t care to continue doing business with a company that handles product issues this way and if anything this was eye opening. If this is how you treat your customers I can only imagine how you prepare and treat your product. There are plenty of other companies out there offering high-quality meat and treating their customers with the respect and care they deserve. A huge mistake I made on my part trying something new.

Hi Jamie, unfortunately, your information here is not accurate. As explained in my email to you, your order was not late. The UPS scheduled delivery time was a day later than what was originally stated, but still in the scheduled delivery time frame. I also provided you with the video showing the dry ice being placed inside your box. Additionally, we ship nationwide and at this time of year in the summer months, it would be impossible for your products to arrive cool to the touch(which you originally stated), if we did not place dry ice in the box. The products would arrive warm or hot. As I stated in my email to you, we provide very important information placed inside your box regarding your order and our policy when it arrives. According to your first email, it appears you did not read that information. On that paper we state that although we do strive for your products to arrive frozen, if they arrive and are thawed, as long as they are still cool to the touch, per USDA confirmation, it is safe to refreeze and consume. We also state that it is normal for the dry ice to be completely dissipated upon arrival even though we do add extra dry ice to account for small delays. You stated in your original email the products were still cool to the touch. When I explained they were safe to refreeze and consume, you changed your wording on how the products arrived. I also stated that on that paper placed inside your box, we ask for photos when there are issues with the products as UPS requires those from us if we need to make a claim. You failed to provide those photos for us. I offered to make a claim for you, but explained to you that since your products arrived cool to the touch and arrived in the delivery time frame, and you did not provide photos, the claim may be denied by UPS. I’m very sorry Jamie. We appreciate you for giving us a try.
*** In response to your edited post, the video we sent to you was viewed by multiple employees and followed through to each station showing your order number from the very beginning. We are not a company that operates under dishonesty. We would never lie about a video that is sent to a customer. Like I said, we strive for your products to arrive frozen. However, per USDA confirmation, the products are still completely safe as long as they are cool to the touch. The products could not have been ruined when arriving in that condition. Again, I’m very sorry Jamie.
*** in response to your additional edit, I explained to you in our email communications that we will file a claim with UPS for reimbursement. I also explained to you that they may deny the claim since the products arrived cool to the touch, in the allotted timeframe and that you did not provide photos of the products upon arrival that UPS requires when we submit a claim, also stated on the paper we placed inside your box. I also explained to you that as stated on our website, we cannot accept meat back because it is a perishable item.
***Again, I’m very sorry Jamie. Thank you.

One star is too generous.
One star is too generous.
This company operates a deceptive subscription model. I made a one-time order—and was never told I was being enrolled in an automatic billing cycle. The product was mediocre at best, so I had no intention of ordering again. Then a month later, they charged my card without my consent.
When I contacted the company, I was told I’d supposedly agreed to recurring shipments and would be charged a $15 cancellation fee—even though I never created an account, never signed up for a subscription, and had no access to cancel anything myself. I told them to cancel immediately. Guess what? They charged me again the following month.
I notified them within minutes of the charge, long before anything was processed or shipped, and they still refused a full refund. They kept trying to send me in circles and blame me for not canceling something I never signed up for. This is a scam disguised as a “regenerative meat” business.
I’ve filed reports with the FTC, Oklahoma Attorney General, and initiated a credit card dispute through AmEx. Be warned: this company has no integrity and no customer protection. Avoid at all costs.
Response from repprovisions.comMay 14, 2025
Like I stated in our previous email communications, when you add products to your cart, you can either choose “subscribe” for those that want it on a recurring basis at a cheaper price, or a “one time” order. We have no way of choosing that for you. The customer chooses one or the other at checkout. You chose “subscribe”. You don’t have to create an account with us to subscribe to our products. We send out reminder emails before your subscription renews to give you the opportunity to make adjustments or to cancel your subscription. You were sent a reminder email that your subscription would be renewing soon and you did not make any adjustments or cancel. You then reached out to us after your order had already processed wanting to cancel your order. As stated on our website, anytime an order is canceled after it has already processed, there is a $15 fee. Our payment processor charges us this fee for the processing of the original payment and for canceling. I explained that to you and canceled your order with the fee. I also explained to you in my email how to easily cancel your subscription, which is also located on our website. I never heard back from you. You did not cancel your subscription so your order renewed again. I canceled that order for you but again I had to charge a $15 fee. We have our policy very clearly stated on our website along with detailed instructions on how to manage your subscription. You state that you can’t log in because you don’t have an account. Once again, you do not have to create an account to be a subscriber. Once you place an order with us, an account has been created for you. We do not require a password to log into your subscription. All that is required is your email. We run our farms and company on honesty and integrity and have done nothing wrong. I’m very sorry it didn’t work out for you.

The Toughest Steaks We've Ever Tried To Eat!
The Rib eye steaks were the TOUGHEST we have ever had. I cooked exactly how they recommended. Brine in salt water, bring to room temperature, and took the steaks off at 150 degrees. We could not eat them and probably won't be able to eat the other 5. We cooked one without doing a brine and it was just as tough!
Response from repprovisions.comMay 7, 2025
Hi Terri, I’m very sorry to hear of your experience. I did email you back when you emailed me with your issue and I never heard back from you. I will copy that again here. The way you cooked them is not how we recommend. I didn’t recommend a salt water brine but just a salt brine for an hour making sure your steaks are room temp before cooking them. I also did not recommended cooking at 150 degrees. We always recommend no more than 135 degrees to maximize tenderness. Cooking anymore than 135 can cause the steaks to be tough.
Grass fed, grass finished steaks do have their own challenges when cooking the perfect steak, as they are very different from a grass fed, grain finished steak. What we try to help people understand, is that since we don’t feed any grain, it’s extremely difficult to make every beef finish exactly the same each time and it will vary from beef to beef due to genetic differences or seasonal differences in grass species they are grazing at the time. So although it’s the healthiest way to eat beef, one grass finished beef may not always be as tender as the next, one may have more fat than another or one may look different than another and sometimes even smell different from another. But what we can offer is the consistent health benefits of our grass fed and finished beef. Even the fat in our meat is loaded with vitamins and minerals and tons of nutrients.
This is the tip I shared with you in the email. Make sure to let your steak reach room temperature before cooking them. Once room temperature, rub sea salt on both sides and let sit for an hour. The salt helps break down the muscle proteins and connective tissue making them more tender. We cook them using our beef suet or grass fed butter and cook them on our griddle(or cast iron on the stove)on high to medium-high heat for about 8 minutes flipping every 1.5 to 2 minutes. We always recommend a medium rare(or 135 degrees with a meat thermometer) to maximize tenderness. After taking off the griddle or cast iron, let it rest 5 minutes before cutting into it against the grain(some people don’t know to cut against the grain).
Again, I’m very sorry Terri. I hope you can try these tips on your remaining steaks. Thank you for giving us a try. We are very grateful.
