Every year, I rent cars several times in all countries of the world and I NEVER had an issue, but this time I used Rentalcars.com !After 1 day of my reservation my trip were cancelled so I decided to cancel the car reservation i made, I was shocked when they took the deposit and it was free cancellation. I contacted them several time the answer was (We take the payment for the deposit as soon as they booking is made) I will not use them again, and I am surprise why they wrote FREE cancellation. Absolutely poor show called agent to hire car in Glasgow for four days got to enterprise at air port to be told my I'd was no good I took what guy from rental car told me to now rental car are refusing to pay refund claiming I was a no show absolute sha man on BENIFITS trying to go see his children bad show

I booked a car hire through Rentalcars.com, they took my money , however they never confirmed any booking and claimed that no booking was ever made. I was left with no car hire when I arrived in resort and had to pay again to hire car through another company. I have sent rentalcars.com copy of my bank statements yet they are refusing to refund the payment even though they never provided a service. Please stay away from theses scam artists and book direct with car hire company. Doesnt help that their customer service staff are based in the Philippines who have a very poor level of speaking English.

Absolute thieves and crooks !!!! In complicity with Hertz they cover an overbooking using false reasons and refuse to refund the price already paid !!!! Proof of évidence, mails, phone calls ....nothing can change their décision to rob you ! AVOID!

Absolute thieves who debit you without giving you a car.... any excuse are good not to give you a car when they overbooked... the rental agency who didn't give the car was HERTZ

Cr where it is due, prices are good but woe betide you if there is an issue. Customer service is non existent. I have been making a case with them for nearly three weeks and feel like a lab rat who has been forced through Catch 22. They claim to make circa 7.5 millions rentals/yr - I guess the person in charge of customer service tells the people on the phone not to worry about, 'customer service' and just keep hold of the money.

Even if booked I didn't get a car, because I was late 30 mins. No refund, and customer service basically inexistent. Booking ref 719976311

The worst car rental platform I ever used. Dont bother booking from them. They will charge you the full amount and your car booking will not be guaranteed. You will then need to make a claim for refund after the end of your booking and only if you proof that you didn’t get a car. Their customer service are rude and unfriendly. Instead of resolving the issue by finding a replacement car or processing the payment, they refer you to another department that you can only raise a claim after the end of the rental period. Just awful experience. NEVER USE THEM….THEY ARE A FRAUD.
