Rentalcars.Com is actually easirent which is absolutely the opposite. At Aberdeen you have to go to the Courtyard at Marriott which they don't tell tou. You have to have copies of bank statements and other proofs of address and upload them yourself. Who takes those on holiday? Then spend ages uploading them. Do Not Use. Totally appalling lack of service. My plans were ruined because I didn't have a bank statement on me. And they won't give you a refund!!!!? Total waste of a morning and £80.

Car I ordered was a VW Golf (or similar). When I got to car hire place, VW Golf was a higher category, so got a Skoda. Not the end of the world. Their booking site (under manage booking) explicitly says that I could request proof of purchase and add my company name (was not looking for VAT invoice). This information is false and misleading. Apparently in the UK it's not. Well my booking was made in Ireland and if you're going to sell in Ireland, then make an effort to get the information correct that you are presenting to customers. Their customer support is shocking, utterly shocking. Other than the email address being wrong to request the proof of purchase (that is in fact impossible), it took 2 phone calls, at least 10 support people asking me for the same info and not responding when they got it, or responding with info that didn't make sense (didn't make sense because the website says it is possible). Will never use this company again.

Worst ever rental experience. This is really a bad company. Hertz managed to rent the vehicle entended for me to someone else totally wrecking this long weekend. Now almost a month after the trip Rentalcars are refusing to refund my prepaid expense for a rental car that was never made available to me. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!

If I could post a NEGATIVE STAR I would. Long story short: rental was paid with the US Government covid stimulus card (card was empty so we tossed it); cancelled due to family emergency. Refund was to be placed on the debit card (that we don't have) - they could give us the last four numbers but nothing further. Asked for a supervisor and DENIED by "Christina." She did verify she was in a call center overseas. Next attempted a computer chat with "Lourin Boli." Stated couldn't give me the card number for secuty reason. Asked for a supervisor and DENIED. This is a fraudulent company, and the worst thing is that it belongs to Booking.com. I booked a car with them and never received en confirmation email and yet they charged me! And now Im trying to get my money back and the only answer is fully loss! What the hell means that! this online company should not exist!

This platform has fraudulent actions with their terms of payments. I had negative experience with them and I have been penalised by 150 euro for a service which I have not received.
