Never ever use this provider! I Honestly had the worst experience regarding car rental... stay away at all cost... don’t be fooled by there attractive quotes... not helpful and not reliable

In a contract was written no additional charges. Then picking up the car I ended up being charged double more than was initially paid. I shared copies of the contract and rules, but no action was taken to resolve the issue.

This is a horrible company. Try to call them... impossible. 2 out of 3 choices in the telephone menu will end the call. I have been struggling for 2 months now to make them tell me why they have charged me twice. They ask you to send email to reservations- They do respond to your mail but all them responds, "hey my name is xxx how may I be of assistance to you"... I am on the 9th person to handle this very simple query. The 9th person referred to a booking number that i have not booked. They have charged me about 250 pounds extra. My challenge is that i have to file an invoice or a receipt. Problem is that they cant send me this. I care about the money but now I just want to close it and never use them again, but without a receipt or invoice I cant.. (anyone in business would understand) My advice.. dont use them

Don't pick SicilyByCar. They are Fraudsters. Cancelled and kept the money.

AVOID THESE THIEVES!!!! I’ve booked a car trough their website when I arrived to collect the car they has asked me to put the deposit 1500£ and the excess 1500£ And others bad things for small car Hyundai I20 !!! I ve cancelled my booking and they took me 200£ Cancellation fee , I don’t really know how like that business running in this Uk !!!!but I will report them to authorities anyway

Terrible. Arrived 2 hours late and was told my booking was cancelled. Not possible to speak to anyone or get a refund. £300 gone! AVOID

Made a booking and cancelled same day - received confirmation by bookings was cancelled. Checked my creidit card statement and they have still withdrawed the payment. Tried to reach Rentalcars.com by phone (Danish and English) - directly to voicemail/robot. When you are pressing 1,2 or 3 it automatically hang up the phone. Tried to write an email to rentalcars.com. All email adresses I have found are not valid anymore. No customer service at all and not reacheble.

Don't help when things go wrong - these guys are happy to take a big commission on your booking but fail to respond or help when things go wrong. I booked an Alamo at Lisbon airport - turned out it was a co called Guerin. The Corolla hybrid they gave me kept draining its battery and refusing to start. It wrecked a day's work and Guerin refused to bring a replacement, instead telling me to take a cab one hour back to the airport to pick up a new one. I didn't have time and asked for a replacement. I emailed for a refund and Guerin kept replying asking for the contract no when i had sent it several times - Rentalcars never bothered to answer - they make it as hard as possible to email complaints and then when you finally find a way, they don't reply! Won't use them again!
