Booked a car which has never been delivered. It is suppose to be meet and greet car hire company. When I called car hire company , once landed with family, call went straight to voice mail. I have left message and someone called me from different number saying that he has nothing to do with car hire company. Funny enough , number I called still exist on their website as only contact. I have contacted Rentalcars.com and explained to them what happened. They told me that I cannot have refund as per policy. What they don't understand that they are selling something that does not exist in real life.

After one hour flight delay was unable to pick up the car. Stuck in airport at midnight with the family including one year baby. No support to resolve the issue and NO REFUND either. Never again! Please avoid this company.

INSURANCE SCAMMERS! I purchased premium insurance through rentalcars.com which was not accepted by recordgo. So I had to buy a second insurance at the record go desk. Rentalcars.com are filthy crooks. Do not trust, do not use. I read the fine print 3 times over and it all said I would be covered. Flat liars. Looking into legal proceedings...these sorts of companies and people should not be allowed to operate.

Rental went fine, but upon returning the vehicle was told the deposit on my Monzo card week out of be returned automatically within 5 working days. 2 months later still no return of large sum of money and when I try to contact customer services it she's for a pin which was never sent. Request for new pin claims new email was sent, but those emails never arrive. Awful situation to be put in, not acceptable and need to be held responsible!

Absolute Scam + Insanely abusive policy. This is, by a long way, the worst customer experience I’ve ever had. In a very short summary: - arrived 30’ after booking time. - I had made the booking which I paid with DEBIT card no problem. - once onsite, I couldnt get the car I had already prepaid (>400€) because I didnt have my physical credit card (i did have a picture and the number, just not the physical plastic). - Credit Card (actual plastic or exact primary driver) is a requirement “a policy” that shows on screen 3 of booking at the iphone (not on subject, nor first sentence). Note: I had a credit card (just not the plastic with me), I had a friends credit card as well - not accepted. consequence: - rentalcars.com DID NOT provide the car. I stayed stranded for 4 days without a car with my two children (7 and 4) IN geneva. Completely ruined my holidays… and most amazing thing of it all…. They charged me the FULL ammount with no refund… because “ITS POLICY” Fun fact. I get today a rating request by rentalcar.com, and they have disabled the functionality to actually set a rating, so does not show on their site

I booked a car in Ponta Delgada Airport on the Azores (Ref: 789876661) and few hours before picking up the car I received the message form Rentalcars (Mihaela C. (Support)) that the car is not available anymore but they can offer another more expensive car with a much larger deposit... I didn't accepted the alternative offer because browsing the other companies I still could find plenty of cars in the original price range... Outrageous... It is a way to manipulate clients to rent a more expensive car in the last moment. I WILL NEVER AGAIN rely on this company again!!!

bookingnr. 616 408 508 Patrick jacques henri Bunel main driver :patrick Bunel Malaga airport from 01 02 2022 til 28 02 2022. Hi,with reference to booking no. 616 408 508. On 01 02 2022 I had to take a car from 01 02 2002 to 28 02 2022. for the sum of DKK 2316. In Malaga, the company Firefly rejected my reservation and I was forced to accept a new contract. I want to get refunded the 2316 DKK find myself with 2 contracts.

Left the car with full tank and, fortunately, asked the customer service agent upon return to check and sign off. The company returned the furl deposit a werk later. However, shortly after 51 € wad deducted from my credit card. The company claimed that this was for missing fuel + fee. Fortunately I could prove them wrong, so the bank returned my money. Shame on you Rentalcars.com.
