I booked a car q on RentalCars.com... My flight was late 40min, landing at 20h and not 19h30. Offices were close... and they asked me to sit and wait for 2hours !! When i tried to cancel: impossible. Since i arrived late, they refused to refund. I lost 2 days of rental but i hope this message will spread all over and they will pay the price of their unfairness. Note: it was not written on rentalcars that their offices (of car q) are not inside the airport. You need to go to the parking, wait for a navette, etc... you'll lose hours, money and energy.

They take the money immediately and yet I get no emails (aside from confirmation) in the lead up toy trip. Arrive at the airport to find out the car is not in the airport and that they need to collect me. How can they possibly do that if we haven’t arranged it in advance and they don’t even know how many of us there are?! When you eventually get through to someone she’s basically a messenger. She tried to get ahold of the person in charge of collecting us and there’s no answer. WHAT DO YOU MEAN?! Wasted 2 hours of my time in Milan with these absolute buffoons. When I started to talk to the staff working at the on site car rental desks, they all tell me how at least twice a day people are getting scammed by these fools

When you need help is super difficult to contact them and even you did contact them, they will use every excuses possible to not give your money back.

I booked to rent a car through rentalcars.com and they confirmed my booking. 3 days before my travel, they sent me email informing me that there is no availability and they cancelled my booking, although it was confirmed by them earlier! The bad thing, I searched their website after the cancelation, and I found cars available in the same time and location, however the price was double! It's a time and money wasting website. Scammers!

I wish I had read these reviews ahead of booking. I made a booking today and was immediately charged the full price of rental , insurance plus £250 extra. I have received no receipt, invoice or booking reference. I cannot access my account online either. As they are a broker I have contacted the actual rental car company my car will be with and they confirm they have received my transaction but they say the cost is much less. There is no way to contact rentalcars.com apart from email so I know feel I may have been duped and am considering contacting my bank. I am supposed to be able to cancel up to 48 hrs before the pickup time however I don't even have a reference number or account access to cancel. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THIS BROKER!

Went to collect car when it was clear on the booking we landed at 19.25 - they shut up at 19.00. Had to book another car, at extra cost, drove back to Pisa Airport next day to be told no car we were late - they didn't offer another car, took our money, no refund, we had to hire another car so the whole experience cost us over £1000 for 6 days!! So, they took our money and resold the car double dipping on revenue surely illegal. Won't take this lying down will not stop writing about this until I get my money back - they picked the wrong person to scam and that's what this company is a scam and thieves.

Do not book through them. I made an error, booked to pick up one day earlier, fully paid and paid extra day, was told I cannot pick up the car late. I had to cancel my booking to get partial refund, and rebook on the spot (double my original payment with 1 less day), phone got hung up halfway through and no more follow up, left you to sort out with car rental...disgusting.
