I have spoken with 3 different reps over the last 3 days, everyone claimed I was paid, but noone could confirm, tell me what card it was paid with or send me a receipt with payment method. Then I got emails saying that my card couldn't be charged. I couldn't get confirmations on anything. I couldn't update my card info. I couldn't make any changes at all. I couldn't trust that I would have a vehicle at my destination. The website was still reading "Awaiting Confirmation" 24 hours before I was to arrive - even though I have a completed rental voucher, so I cancelled, and then I was told that "if" I was refunded any money they would be keeping almost $300??? Horrible, miserable experience.

Dishonest scam artists. I paid for a car I didn’t get. They don’t care, they can offer no solution or help. They also missold me a product. terrible customer service, misleading sales, lying toads. If you want to swap money for a car for a limited number of days, then this IS NOT THE WAY. You will have no money and no car.

I rented a car with this company without any good repute and clarity. And my flight was delayed 4 hours and when I arrived at the company my car was not there and I did not get my refund. Booking and RentalCars will never see my money again. Dishonest company.

They are nothing but a legit scam car rent company. i called them prior to making a booking to say i don't have a physical driving license(was with DVLA at the time), can i still hire the car? upon which they said "yes" and said to bring passport, 2 proof of addresses and a DVLA check code, which i happily provided when i got to the counter, after checking everything they said its all fine. and then the guy at the counter moved away to call someone. came back after couple of minutes and said their "manager" over the phone said, No we cant let the car on rent without a physical license. we are sorry but its policy etc. that made me angry i asked them why did you say yes over the phone to me and made me come all the way here with all the documents and details to just waste my time and cab expense to get here at the office? the guy was embarrassed and said sorry i didn't know. i then asked for refund for the booking i made. he said to call customer service as they the one who can issue it.i walked away and called the customer service later in evening, after arguing for almost 40 minutes over the phone about the issue. they declined my request for refund saying "because booking was cancelled with not enough notice which is over 24 hours, on that basis it cant be refunded." i told them it was not cancelled by me, it was cancelled by your people at the office and pickup time was after 2 hours of me making the booking so it can't have 24 hours notice. Also i made the booking after calling your office on bath road london near heathrow, and your guys misinformed me. anyway these guys are rude, aggressive no basic ethics of trade or customer service what so ever. DO NOT USE THEM.

DO NOT USE!! We booked a car via Rentalcars.com in September. We never received a booking confirmation, but they took the money. There was no car waiting for us when we arrived at our destination. Rentalcars.com have confirmed there is no record of the booking and have sent the refund request to Finance…but Finance never reply.

They let you book a car with out verifying if the car rental company can rent you the car or not. I spent 50£ for cabs to get to London Heathrow to pick up the car only to be turned down by the rental company that they can’t rent the car due to me having an old insurance offense in the past. I call up Rentals Cars and they say they have it mentioned on some tiny terms and conditions and that they can’t issue a refund. How unscrupulous ? Only book through them if you are happy to read all terms and conditions.

The only problem with Rentalcars.com is that they have dealings with the "Insurance Scammers", FIREFLY car rentals. Use Rentalcars by all means, but don't deal with FIREFLY car rentals!!
