SCAM I've booked a car to greenmotion through this website, when I arrived at greenmotion's desk they asked for extra money and tried to sell me an upgrade to a bigger car for "just" 672£, I said no so they told me they can't give me the car I've booked, I've asked for a refund but they told me they can't make it, I've contacted rentalcars and they told me they can't do anything about it cause due to company policy they don't refund. So I remained with no car and no money, I ended up getting an Uber. AVOID THIS WEBSITE

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL! You might be lucky if everything will go right so there might be some happy customers but if there's any issue they way they treat customers seems to be unbelievably bad, unfair without respect. I was advised by people from renting companies that it's nothing new and that THERE ARE MANY ISSUES WITH RENTALCARS.COM They left me with small child on airport without car I paid for few months in advance and kept all money for themselves. When I called to them they made impossible to make offer where I would need to spend a night on airport really to pay them for new reservation to get money back from my first reservation. Then the next day when I wanted to clear the situation and a person I talked to didn't respond to my question and finished our conversation without any notice. There are so many companies you can use that it doesn't make sense to risk with this one. DEFINITELY AVOID!

Took the money, gave car we booked to someone else, and did not provide an exchange vehicle. Late arrival due to cancelled flight. Tried to call them but no replies. Then charged me for whole rental period. unbelievable. AVOID AT ALL COST!

They say there are no hidden taxes, but charged my credit card more then the provided invoice by Europcar. I asked rentalcars.com to refund the difference, they refused and said something about better prices they get from different providers, because they are big and work with mos of the rental car companies in the world. I asked to send me any document accounting for the money they took, had no response. Will rent a car directly from a car rental company next time.

Robbing bas...ds, say away from only booked a car tried to cancel 5 mins later and was charged for 3 days rental.. useless and then takes a week to get your money back

My first and last time to use this company. Booking was all OK and quite easy, I selected my Car Company Goldcar). When I arrived at airport to go on Holiday my flight was delayed for three hours. I contacted their help line through website Chat ( I have a printed version of this conversation) and was told that if I arrived 39 mins late my booking would be cancelled and would loose my car with no refund. The agent told me that she would bend the rules and see if she could get me a full refund (which she dis and was in my bank three days later). I asked if I could book same company again but was too;dto go on website and rebook. Which I did but directly with Hertz. When I arrived at my destination and went to Goldcar and told then what had happened, they informed me that all I was told was complete rubbish. They hold the car fir 6 hours and even when the office closes at 01.00 if the flight has landed someone would wait. So I had all this anxiety and had to book a new car at a higher price for nothing. Goldcar told me that dealing with Rentalcar.com is very poor and many many people are let down. Please do nit use them, use a more trustful company. Paul

As with so many others, on arrival to pick up my car i was told it was released to someone else (despite my checking in to pick this car up) and not only did i have no car, but they charged for a full weeks rental over £300. The worst company imaginable, a criminal operation that MUST BE AVOIDED. Please book your car with reputable car hire company, anyone but Rental Cars to avoid the losses of myself and clearly so many others.
