I paid for a rental car service through rental cars.com that I never received due to Not being able to reach them after numerous calls. Rental cars.com refuses to refund me my $125 even after I submitted supporting documentation. I’ve had an awful experience with this company.

Theives! same story as other customers. no credit card so was refused the car - charged for 9 days. Robbery.

Terrible, be careful. Not only did it drain my wallet, but it also claimed my booking wasn't successful. Definitely one to avoid!

Took my money for a rental that was not available. It’s been 10 days since they supposedly refunded my money. I called them this morning and they told me I am not eligible for a refund because I was 1 hour late to pick up my car and it was given away. There were hundreds of people at dollar rental waiting for cars that did not exist or were not available.

I would strongly advise against using Rentalcars as an intermediary for car hire. I rented a car through them for 14 days in Phuket, paid the full amount to Rentalcars and when I wanted the car handed over it was refused as I was 78 and they didn't rent out to Max 75 years. It wasn't the worst. but neither the rental company nor Rentalcars will pay back the 14 days' rent. It is highly immoral. They probably score a lot of money that way.

I needed to change my booking at short notice. I wasn't able to do this online, so started online chat with an agent. She said she would check my reservation and never returned. I only received a survey about my experience. I then tried calling, after several attempts of one agent said she couldn't hear me, and I couldn't understand her. The next call answered, but no one there. The third just hung up on contact.I gave up. Disgraceful service. I will never use this company again. It's cost me £180 and no car!

This company are unethical and what they are doing seems unlawful. They take payment without providing full information of checks that the main driver requires. I tried to book a car for my brother as we urgently needed one for a family event. I paid for the booking and all the voucher said that was required was a drivers license and ID (which he had), the £200 deposit and the booking reference number. The rental company did a series of checks and because my brother didn't pass the address check (he lives with his partner) the company said he wouldn't be able to complete the rental. They advised I call rentalcars.com to get my money back however they refused to speak to me as I am not the main driver, even though I made the booking. When I eventually got my brother to email them saying he gave permission for them to speak to me, they have said I will not recieve a refund. This is disgusting. I will not be using them again!

DO NOT RECOMMEND TO RENT A CAR BY B-RENT (!) We had pre-booked and pre-paid a car B-Rent via Rentalcars.com, and it turned out to be one of the most disappointing experiences during our trip. Upon arrival at the company's office, not only were we not served, but we were also denied the car, citing alleged incorrect types of driver's licenses. This claim turned out to be false, as we later successfully rented a car from another company (by Drivalia) using the same licenses. The service was terrible - the employee was constantly absent and did not provide us with clear information about the problem. We spent several hours trying to resolve the situation, which was extremely inconvenient during the journey. As a result, we were charged approximately 50 euros for supposedly three days of rental, even though the car was never actually provided to us.
