Remote People - a mess in a new country
Remote People appear to be new in my countryy. One week before I was going to sign my contract they came up with a new local partner EOR with significant changes to my conditions. One month later, the first salary was due. It appears no preparations had been made to make salary payments in a new domain. It took three full weeks before they were able to pay the salary only. My significant expenses seem to take longer still. To compound matters, my Remote People contact seems to treat employees with a certain arrogance leaving an impression that it is more important to appear fault free to the end client than to the people that the end client wants to employ.

Thank you, Bertil, We’re sorry to read about the difficulties you’ve described with your employment arrangements and payments. A change of local EOR partner and significant changes to conditions just before signing understandably create uncertainty. The three-week delay to your first salary and the expenses you say remain outstanding add to that frustration. We’re also sorry that your interactions left you feeling dismissed; you deserve clear, respectful communication about your employment terms and payments. Please contact [email protected] for assistance with the outstanding expenses and clarification of your concerns, including the way your questions have been handled. Thank you for explaining how these issues have affected your experience. The RemotePeople Team
