I've been using Remote People as my employer of record in Italy since end of January this year. Overall, my experience has been positive, although there have been some challenges along the way (not caused by them though!). The onboarding process was straightforward, and whenever I needed support, the team was effective in helping me resolve issues. Responses could sometimes be a little slow, but the assistance provided was really helpful. One area where I see room for improvement is benefits flexibility. Given the differences in taxation and employment regulations between countries, having more options to choose from would help employees select the benefits that best suit their individual circumstances and make the most of their compensation package.
