9 months out from my procedure for a partial full thickness tear of my supraspinatus (which had a previous surgery 17 years ago) and I would estimate my return to full recovery and pain free functionality at 94%. So happy I did not have to have another surgery or anesthesia which does not agree with my brain. I chose this out of pocket Regenexx procedure over a full reimbursable surgery. When the heck is the insurance companies and medical powers that be going to cover this excellent and safe option????

I was falling down because of nerve damage in my lower back. Dr Schultz gave me PRP injections several times and now I have not fallen since. I’ve had stem cell injections in my hip for pain that was very bad and now no pain at all. I can’t say enough good things about Regenixx. Thanks again for your perfection of this procedure.

The procedure resulted in full function and I’m able to enjoy all the things I did before. However, I had bad fits of anxiety before and during the procedure. It was traumatic but not be the fault of anyone performing the procedure. I will and have recommended stem cells to many people.

Dr steine was very professional and I am happy almost a year later with the results for my small complex torn medial meniscus. How much meniscus was actuallly healed from the stem cell PRP is unknown since there has been no follow up MRI yet. However other than some very minor lingering swelling or tightness only noticed if doing deep squats, the knee is fully functional including for ballistic sports like singles tennis.

It may be that my knees were just too shot for stem cells to regenerate enough stem cells to reverse my situation. I think the initial check-up with the doctor needs to be very, very honest about the odds of getting relief, when you have severe osteo-arthritis of the knees. I spent a lot of money for Regenexx, including going to the Grand Caymans from the West Coast, three different times. The first time, for the bone marrow aspiration, the second time for the injections in each knee, and a year later for another boaster of stem cells that had been frozen. I didn't get much relief, even though both times I wore my Don Joy knee braces faithfully after the procedures, so that was super disappointing. After consulting 3 different orthopedic surgeons, I decided to go for a total knee replacement, and I'm one month post-op and already feel more relief from pain, and I'm still going to PT. I wish the stem cell treatment had worked for me, but I think my knees were too worn out after decades of ski racing, and marathon running. I'd urge Regenexx to be blatantly honest with a candidate, if they think it probably won't work. In my case, the 3 surgeons I consulted all agreed that my bone on bone situation was just too much for stem cells to be able to regenerate enough to give me relief.
