This is the worst motel ever in my life. Headboard missing paint missing all over the wall. Bathroom door had drawing all over by a child. Bathtub disgusting and the sink didn’t have a cold water handle. Front door needed painted. Outside the door was a tone of cigarette buds. I wish I could share the pictures. This is the Red Roof Inn Michigan City In. Don’t waste your money. We had to because it’s the only place to find in a hurry with 3dogs because of the riots.

My boyfriend and I have stayed in the Red Roof Inn Plus in West Springfield Mass on Riverdale St a few times with no problems. On 5/30/2020 we checked in. At about 9pm I went to relax in the bed took my shoes off and stepped on a big piece of glass that you could tell broke off of a crack pipe!! I brought it down to the guy behind the desk all he did was looked at it like he was surprised and said "wow thank you" we weren't making a big deal about it, but then the next morning we decided to stay again and went to check back in and the same guy was behind the desk told my boyfriend that we couldn't stay in the same room because it was occupied already for the night. Now we know that is a lie but we didn't wanna fight so we asked if there were any other rooms and he said " only ones with two beds" so we thought we could push the beds together my boyfriend told the guy ok give me that room then and the guy said " you have to come back and check back in at 3pm" now there are plenty of times when we decided to stay another and go down to the desk and get it again and never heard we had to come back at 3pm. While my boyfriend was trying to get another room the guy radios the house keeping and tells them to clean that room we were in right away. Now I know we didn't make a big deal about finding the glass but him telling the house keeping to clean the room right away makes us feel like he's trying to hide something about that room and makes no sense why we couldn't stay in the room we were in. My boyfriend went back to get a receipt and the guy told him he can't give him a receipt. Never heard of that one before. Oh and the room that the guy said was occupied have absolutely NO ONE IN IT!!!!!

Van Horne Red Roof Inn. BEWARE! Checked In on 4/29/2020. Got a room, for the $70 I was expecting at least as nice as Motel 6. The bedding was half on the floor. Found 2 live scorpions, 7 flying moths, 3 dead moths and 3 spiders in the bathroom. Got another room. NO DISCOUNT OFFERED and was denied. Staff tried to call management but, yep you guessed it, unreachable. Bedding still didn’t fit but we were exhausted, so we stayed, I was expecting bedbugs in the morning. The wall is pained blood red so you can’t see any marks from them. This hotel is very run down, rust in the tub, paint chipped up all over, in need of repair, and nasty. Price gauging here. If it wasn’t for having pets (which many hotels do not accept), and our exhaustion, not safe to drive, we would have gone on. Suggest if it’s safe move on.

North Phoenix Red Roof Inn was the dirtiest place I've ever seen! I checked out within 20 minutes! There were hairs in the shower and on the floor in the bathroom. There was a soap wrapper next to the toilet from a previous guest, hairs on top of the wall mounted hair dryer, crumbs on the floor under the desk, a layer of dust on the desk and the TV, the microwave was disgusting and the bathroom sink and mirror were covered in grime! It looked like the bed was made and the towels and garbage bags were changed and that's it! There was an envelope that said Stephanie was the cleaner and it hinted at leaving a tip and I wanted to put a note saying "Here's a tip....find a different job." My advice go a mile south to La Quinta. It was super clean and cheaper!

Williams Arizona doesn’t honor corporate published rates. Received an email from Red Roof indicating the rate for the location was $31.20 per night. Spoke to the location and they said they would honor the price. Upon arrival, they wanted to charge me $55 per night. Showed them for published price, the best rate they would give me was $39 plus wanted to tack on $9 per night for utilities. Would not honor the corporate rate from the email. In order to get the email rate, I started to place the reservation online but when I went to do that, the individual at the front indicated that he just adds on fees to the internet rate to charge me the higher rate. He was free to charge anything he wanted regardless of the internet price. In the end we negotiated a rate of $86 total for two nights but when I checked my credit card, he charged me $94.90. The place is a scam. Out right fraud. Red Roof Customer Relation was no help. I received a canned response from them telling that each location can charge whatever they want regardless of the internet rate or published rates. They indicated that this was because of changing demand. The two night I was there, there was no demand. The place was empty. Dishonest franchisee. No integrity. Stay away. Drive the addition thirty minutes to Flagstaff for the hotel franchise interested in providing a quality product and honest pricing.

Would definitely stay here again. Room was very fresh & clean. New flooring, clean fresh pillows & sheets. Nice towels. WONDERFUL water pressure in shower. Nice amenities in room. Very pet friendly & no complaints with our big dog ! A pleasant surprise for the low cost. Minus one star only because our room needed better bedside lighting!

Stayed at the Red Roof Inn at New London, Ct and it was fine for one night. Based on our stay there I think I can judge other Red Roof Inn’s. I think it is a one night on the road hotel. If I have a road trip again and we arrive late and leave early then I will look for a Red Roof In.

The room was recently updated and for the most part clean enough. However, they provided only 2 towels (one for each adult). The toilet paper holder was broken and we had to place the roll on the floor. The grating on the heater was broken. Also, the sheets smelled of cigarettes upon arrival. Once the sheets were changed they smelled fresh.
