I was on the sixth floor
I was on the sixth floor, small quaint room, nothing special, only stayed one night. Parking was pricey.

Red Roof Inn, I 95 Cedar Creek road North Carolina. We arrived around 8 PM and were greeted by two very lovely young ladies. Great personalties and made these tired old bones feel welcome. A My first complaint was when we arrived at our room the strong for of bleach assaulted my senses, giving me an immediate headache. After a bit of an air out, the air was breathable. We brought our 2 miniature Doxies with us and were very happy to be able to run around our room. But, when they stopped at the bathroom and were staring intently at a spot. It turned out to be dog poop, all over the floor. So much for thinking the room was cleaned with bleach…sanitized according to their website. (I had to clean it up) Backtracking a bit, online the room was $89.00 to book the room. I filled out the information and before I hit confirm, I noticed the price was $139.99! So, I called them and explained the price to them on their website. The woman apologized and said she would give me a discounted rate. The tally was $ 121.83! Yes the room was $79.00 where the rest was for service fees! What’s the service fee you ask? Because I called the number on their website to set the reservation. That was an additional $42.83! Yeah, talk about rip off! Back to my list of complaints. So after cleaning up the poop from the previous guest, I checked the shower. There was a tiny bar of soap and one of shampoo, which was empty. The toilet paper was empty too. There were only 2 small towels for us to use. The toilet seat was broken so if you sat, you’d slide off if you weren’t careful and, the fan didn’t work. (I bring my own cleaning supplies) Next were the beds. (I always bring my own sheets and blankets) I pulled down the bedspread and a dirty smell wafted up. It looked like someone had slept in that bed and housekeeping only smoothed it back out. I was disgusted! There was a microwave, refrigerator, an iroqqqqqqqqn and ironing board, coffeemaker with coffee, a blow dryer with a bright night light. There is also a small strip of grass outside for dogs to potty. I always carry poop bags to clean up after our dogs. There were no poop bags for people to clean up after their pets. I’m guessingqq no one but me cleans up after their dogs because the place was loaded with poop. I walked my dogs elsewhere. The morning breakfast was mediocre. Toast, bagels, cereals, oatmeal were offered. If you wanted waffles, you had to make them yourself. Very over cooked hard boiled eggs were offered and some yogurt. Juices and coffee were offered. They were ok. Will we stay at a Red Roof Inn again? Maybe, but I’ll be sure to call the hotel itself and not the number given on their website. The Hampton is pet friendly so we’ll try them next time and hope for a better, cleaner experience.

Stayed at the Red Roof Inn at New London, Ct and it was fine for one night. Based on our stay there I think I can judge other Red Roof Inn’s. I think it is a one night on the road hotel. If I have a road trip again and we arrive late and leave early then I will look for a Red Roof In.

The room was recently updated and for the most part clean enough. However, they provided only 2 towels (one for each adult). The toilet paper holder was broken and we had to place the roll on the floor. The grating on the heater was broken. Also, the sheets smelled of cigarettes upon arrival. Once the sheets were changed they smelled fresh.

I stayed here while in the middle of moving. The manager was very rude and not helpful at all!! I was having a very bad night and all I wanted to do was go to bed!! Instead she had me running around to get twenty dollars!! It was in case something was to happen to the room!! So I go get twenty dollars which I thought she wanted in cash!! She said no it has to be on a credit card!! At this point I am upset and in years!! I said please just take the cash!! But she insisted it needed to be on a credit or debit card. So I had to run to the atm to put twenty dollars on my card!! Like I said I was in the middle of moving and was low on cash!! So honestly didn't have anything on it!! A friend was paying for my hotel stay. It just was a very bad experience. The beds were ok but honestly I was just happy to have a place to lay my head!!

For 48 dollars per night, I did not expect much so wasn't eally disappointed when I arrived at the Red Roof Inn in Rochester Michigan. This Inn has no luxuries and is skimpy on bath towels. If you only need a room for a night or two then this Inn will serve your purpose. Mcdonalds is almost located in the same parking area so you have a close food source. Ice and a vending machine are available but that's about it. Just watch out for their broken sprinklers gushing out water. I gave them a 3 star because the rooms are plain and a/c is antiqued. two towels, one hand towel, zero washcloths, old linens, smokers hanging outside to smoke, doos opening and closing all night and broken sprinklers. Certainly not a highly rated Inn that one would want to go if they planned on a lengthy stay or for those like me that want at least a coffee pot in the room.

It's a decent hotel in Council Bluff. We were unfamiliar with the area, and this hotel seems fairly central to restaurants and shopping. Really like the room set-up for two queen bed, the illusion of two separate rooms with a Jack-n-Jill bathroom. Perfect for our family, we could put the kids in one room and parents on the other side. Only down side was the lack of staff support for noise complaints.

Red Roof Inn is okay... their service is usually great and the rooms have always been clean and pest free in my experience over the decades. The beds however are some of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept in. I've yet to sleep at a RRI where I don't wake up with a stiff back/neck. So for the price you can't really beat them but if you're willing to pay more then stay at a Howard Johnson or something.
