Stayed at Fredericksburg South VA location on Jefferson Davis Highway. Had a review rating of 2, they are LUCKY to get that. Really wanted a first floor room for the 2 of us, neither of us able to do steps well. But ALL beds on first floor are just 1 king. they offered us a room with a fold out bed. We went to check it out, horrible worn out bed and fold out, dingy lumpy mattresses. When we pulled the fold out bed open, there was a bong from someone else's stay under in, so active drug use. Took a second floor room, Dingy, dirty, lumpy mattresses, plaster in bathroom falling out, and to top it off, a USED DIRTY wash cloth hanging in shower from previous guest. So much for extra cleaning for COVID issues. GROSS

The clerk at the counter in Myrtle Beach was abbrasive, argumetative and even blamed me for not visiting the front desk to extend my stay.... even though I called their # on their website 6:30 AM that morning. They jacked my rate X3 -- I only travel 30 weeks a year.. Red Roof - you lost my business.

We stayed at the reed roof in Victorville Ca on 8/30/20 this place needs to be torn down and start over it was very dirty we had no towels to dry are hands after using the bathroom. The comforter had cigarette burns all over it. It look like they dumped a gallon of pain in the bathtub. The floors where all broken. Very awful will never stay there again!!! Front desk staff was rude also!!

Due to Covid and riots we have been staying at two red roof properties in Seattle for 7 weeks. We both work in healthcare and asked reps on the phone and at the desk many times if there was a discount. We were told no. Then yesterday a rep on the phone asked why we weren’t using the 20% discount. We used it today and when I lodged a complaint with guest relations we received this email back August 6, 2020 Record ID 7919448 Hello David Levy, Thank you for contacting us about your experience. My best friend and daughter just recently stayed at the Red Rood Inn in Wilmington NC on Market street. It was a TERRIBLE experience. For starters we were told through the booking agency as well as a Red Roof Inn staff members that we would be able to check in at 1pm. Upon arrival it was lightening , thundering and raining severely. We were stopped at the door and told we could not check in until 3pm or after. So we had to sit in the car in the parking lot while it was storming. The young lady at the door who worked the front desk however was very polite and was able to check us in at 2pm. So we waited an hour in the storm opposed to 2 hrs. Initially walking into the room it appeared to be decent for the price we paid until we got settled in. The room had roaches, there was open soap sitting behind the sink and the air conditioner did not work. When the front desk was called the young man working in the evening said he would come to the room for the air conditioner and never came. When asked for bug spray he stated they didn’t have any. We originally asked for a late check out of 12 instead of 11 and was told yes by the nice young lady we encountered on check in however at 8:53 in the morning we decided to just leave after housekeeping just opened our door without knocking . It was the worst experience ever and I will never stay at any Red Roof Inn. The one star I gave this review is for the young lady at the front desk who was very apologetic and tried to make some accommodations .

So I have stayed at red roof last summer and this summer. This summer I stayed a few night. One night they put me in a room that was filled with roaches. Got all over my dog food bag every time I had to pick my dogs food up I had to shake it so the roaches fell off so I went out front And complain they put me in another room in the other room the AC didn’t work so they move me to another room the next day I try to come back and say again and I was told I was put on the do not rent to list this was last Friday almost a week ago and no one can tell me why I was on this list they told me I have to wait till the manager came back called plenty of times the manager was never available wasn’t there finally today I got in touch with the manager after almost a week later and the manager told me I can’t stay there because there was dog poop on the floor. And told me I can’t rent from them again and told me once I’m on the do not rent to live I can’t be taken off he told me it was the other manager that did it I asked him for the managers name he laughed and said it doesn’t matter what the name is you can’t come back very rude and very disrespectful I think it’s funny of the day after I complain I can’t come back. Most crappiest place I’ve ever stayed in would not recommend them at all because if you complain about them having roaches in the AC don’t work they won’t let you come back!! Also they have a worker that stays on site with a PREGNANT DOG that’s walks around without a leash on and in the office without a leash or anyone up there and also it’s not very friendly. Needs to be done about this.

Do not stay at the Red Roof in West Monroe, LA! That location honestly needs to shut down. You can tell that the housekeepers don’t do their jobs. The sheets were FILTHY, the towels looked like someone used them to clean up oil, the tub was DISGUSTING! Worst experience at a hotel thus far! I’m going to write a letter because that sad and unhealthy especially during this pandemic!

The beds were very comfortable and the cable TV had alot of good channels and the prices very good.
