My wife and me went for lunch at Alderwood Red Robin and the host who did not greet us but escorted us to a booth with a blank expression and no words were said. She made us feel unwelcome and considered us an imposition. However the two young ladies who served and waited our table were friendly and professional making our meal enjoyable.

Ate at the Ocala Fl location. Since I am a twin, we went there for the free birthday burgers. The system would not let us get 2 free meals which is unfair. Our server was Isaiah. Very good. Not sure we will return.

The food was delicious as always! I marked it 3 star because our server SUCKED so bad! He was a tall bald guy dark eyebrows, working at the Layton Red Robin’s. Horrible of refills, horrible at checking in. Felt like he was avoiding us or maybe he just sucks I’m not really sure but we were there so much longer then need be. Other then that love Red Robin’s :)

First off I wasn't greeted until 5 minutes after arriving, and I sat myself down in the bar. My usual Server Preston, wasn't there because he graduated and went off to another city in Texas! He always KNEW what I wanted, and HE KNEW how to serve a Blue Moon beer, with an orange slice on the glass. How hard is that???? The girl that works in the bar is young and inexperienced!! So she drops the orange in my glass. I ordered the tsunami shrimp appetizer. I told her to substitute plank fries for the chips. I hate chips. My food was brought to me with a side of chips. I told her I guess they don't know how to read her ticket. Then I ordered another Blue Moon beer, same thing happened...but I seen her just plop the orange slice in my glass. This is really poor attitude and service. I was on my way home from work, but I feel like I need to check into another restaurant when going home after work. The tsunami shrimp was overcooked and hard to eat. If you can't do better than this, there are going to be less patrons. Too bad Preston left. He made this place better by being personable and a great bartender!! This place has gone downhill. Sucks. I loved this place.

The burger was absolutely delicious! The sweet potato fries were cold. We had a coupon that said 9.99 for a burger, endless fries, and an endless drink. We were charged 10.69 for the burgers and then 3.59 for my drink. I would have said something to the waiter, but I was in the restroom while my husband paid the bill. Very disappointing!

# stars because most of my family was happy, and honestly i would give Red Robin great reviews. I like almost everything on their menu, except for one item which used to be THE reason I used to go there a lot more often. I had been in love with their Banzai Burger forever. Teriyaki sauce and a big juicy pineapple ring made it one of the most unique and tasty burgers anywhere. BUT I was first disappointed about 18 months ago when the pineapple ring on my burger was laser thin. Id estimate less than 1/4 the thickness of a regular pineapple ring. Really ? One can of pineapple rings on a grocery shelf would make 10 burgers and they're going to chinse on one of the cheapest ingredients? So after that experience I didn't go back for more than a year. Then tonight my family wanted to go there and so i once more chance my beloved Banzai burger. This time it was worse. The pineapple ring was square, thin and contained zero pineapple flavor. I took the slice out to try to alone and it tasted like lemon. Absolutely zero pineapple flavor. Just as bad, no teriyaki taste at all either. I couldn't even finish it, it was so bland and lemon tasting from that supposed pineapple ring totally ruined the otherwise bland burger. WHY Red Robin did you destroy this signature burger by literally removing the two ingredients that made it ? wont be back.

Food was average, service was okay. But was overcharged for child’s meal portion (double the cost) did not catch it until we left, and upon contacting them they would not correct the bill although they sent me an electronic receipt which showed the overcharge.

I wish they kept the old decor for the restaurant.
