We understand that you may have your own opinions about someone’s appearance, but when a community member is happy with their results, suggesting a revision is not helpful or supportive. In regards to reviews without photos, we agree that a picture can be worth a thousand words. However, since many community members prefer anonymity when discussing their procedures, we do allow reviews without photos. As mentioned in our email to you, we ask that the reviews share your personal experience with the doctor and adhere to our community guidelines (https://www.realself.com/community-guidelines). You're welcome to submit a review of your procedure with this doctor at any time. Additionally, as mentioned in our email, the state medical board is the authority in determining if a doctor is able to practice. Any changes to their license status are reflected on their profile.

Hi Isabel - Only providers who meet our participation criteria, listed here (https://www.realself.com/professionals/policies), are eligible for a profile on RealSelf. Consumers can still review any provider they wish, but the provider won't have a profile with an aggregated rating and a method contacting them.
