Bad deal
Bad deal, fee after fee, all confusing (intended?). Stay away, and if u can, get out of your timeshare. Wyndham is a good name; they should drop RCI like a hot potato.

Like most great companies, it all started with an idea. In 1974, Jon and Christel DeHaan set out to add greater value to the timeshare experience when they pioneered the vacation exchange concept. The DeHaans developed a system that allowed owners to exchange time at their home resort for a stay at a different affiliated property—delivering a new level of flexibility and choice to timeshare owners and revolutionizing an industry in the process.Today, RCI remains the leader in vacation exchange, offering the world’s largest vacation exchange network and providing unrivaled products and services to enhance the vacation ownership experience. It’s one of the many reasons why more resorts trust RCI to deliver vacation exchange services to its subscribing members than any other company across the globe

RCI didn’t get us the exit they promised . Signed up for our exit process for 9 months and nothing progressive was done. Wasted a lot of time and money with this company. I would not recommend to anyone !. We offloaded our timeshare obligations completely December 2024 with the help of a private investigator team named forexfraudteam. They helped us look into our timeshare and found legal faults in our contract . They used this information to request a full cancellation of contract. We got documentations to that effect 3 weeks after and didn’t have to pay near as much as RCI charged us for nothing. If you’re looking for a real solution to timeshare hostage situation, I’ll recommend you share your story with ForexFraudTeam at gmail com.

This is a waist of money and time, you are given points & can't use all of the points when you want, customer service is horrible & none of my questions were answered Biggest regret of my life. Be warned, do not use this company!!!!!!!!! You save absolutely no money, but have to pay thousands to get out of the contract.

Since feb 24 made a booking for a three bed, three bathroom for December. This was not honoured. What’s the sense in paying a membership and exchange fee if the specifications as on the website is inaccurate and what is booked is not honoured. Members should be wary of this underhanded approach of RCI and they will not do anything about it. Definitely not renewing my membership when it comes around. Too much inconvenience.

I implore you to run the other way if you are considering a timeshare with RCI. They are truly a heartless company. We recently had a death in the family and had to cancel a vacation that we planned several months ago. Instead of RCI being empathetic and understanding that this was beyond our control, they proceeded to advise me that we would lose the $350 exchange fee regardless of what happened. It's sad that this is their practice. They also have a points system that makes it almost near impossible to find a resort within your points range.

Don't allow them to rope you into a "two hour" talk for a reward. We were lied to. Sat there for two hours with four children. When we were told we had to go to another place to finish up the talk we told them we would like to leave since it has been two hours. They refused us our reward and charged us on our non refundable deposit for the "pleasure" of hearing their sales spiel. When my husband tried to escalate it we discovered the lady at the resort lied and said we left after 90 minutes... even though we left at two hours on the dot (referencing the clock). They cheated my family and I out of two hours of our vacation and still had the gaul to charge us a refuse our promised gift card. I'm not one to complain but we were bold faced lied to

Do NOT travel with this company. They call you and tell you you purchased a package and then when you ask questions about what it is you purchased they get mad at you and hang up on you, then when you call back they just answer the phone and hang up on you again. Tina has some major attitude on her and doesn't like answering client concerns and questions.
