Do not go through RCI. You can t even book cruise with your points now!! Boohoo to Rci. I am very frustrated was never advised of this bad change.SUZAN

We bought a timeshare Barnsdale hall in the UK my partner had been a member of RCI since 1998 and so tried to register it to his membership last year but it turned out they created a second membership without telling him he only found out when they kept ring him everyday sometimes twice a day to renew his membership he didn't even know that existed trying to sort this out has been very tring and tiring to say the least the won't admit that he was misled he's had enough of RCI and now is closing his membership and parting company after over 20years. He would not recommend RCI if you are looking for a timeshare exchange company try worldwide timeshare exchange they are cheaper and more customer friendly. RCI have become a company now are interested in taking as money from you and give no customer service

I wrote a review on here, on 12 July 2022, to which RCI responded on here, inviting me to contact them directly. I did so, but they have completely ignored my email to them, and after almost three months it looks like they have no intention of responding. It therefore appears that their response on this page is purely for the purpose of making it appear that they wish to be helpful, when in fact they don't. Be VERY careful if you believe them to be trustworthy. I would publicly invite RCI to have dialogue with me about my experience, which they and I can then display publicly. If they are genuine about their concern, I would hope they take up this offer ...

Scammed by RCI rep Been a owner with RCI at least 17 years and have had issues in the past but none like this. Recently book a trip with the wife to Jamaica. Was quoted a all inclusive fee of over $2400, and a discount if you prepaid, which I did. Unfortunately they neglected to tell me that was per person and I only found out after confirmation, the resort wont do anything because RCI made the reservation and the supervisor at RCI told me my only option was to cancel my trip. Instead of arguing I asked her to pull the call which she refused to do, even told me if she did pull the call it wouldnt change the fact that the resort is who takes payment, nevermind being quoted 1 price and then being charged another, just go ahead and cancel your anniversary trip.

A few years ago, RCI solicited me to buy a "cruise package". For $4000 they would offer upgraded cruise opportunities, a free resort stay and yada yada. So I fell for it. I paid the $4000 and when I tried to book the cruise, the pandemic hit so it had to be delayed. I complied with everything they asked, and waited for them to confirm 'recovery of the certificate' so I could re-book. Instead, I got an e-mail that they had 'changed the rules' and could not re-issue the certificate!!! Changed the rules?? What BS is that? They stole $4000 from me by 'changing the rules' after the fact. What a scam and a con. I am retired and run a foundation for wounded vets and I take no salary, so losing $4000 is a HUGE hit. Shame on RCI for participating in this fraud. Additionally, I traded a time share week with them that is a high week, and when I tried to book a different resort, all they offered was Mexico. NONE of the places I wanted were available. I will never use them again and I advise you to avoid-avoid-avoid.

I am joining the 88% who have rated this company as "terrible". Over the past week or so I have spoken to several different vacation "experts" at RCI to attempt to resolve an ongoing issue about how the goofy points system works, or doesn't work as in my case. I own a week 52 which every 6 or 7 years I am suppose to get an extra week 53 which is suppose to be tradable within the points system. I spoke to an RCI agent because there was some confusion whether this years week 53 had been credited. I was told by the arrogant agent no you don't have credit for this so you don't get any points for it. Since he was getting somewhat irritated by my questions as to how this happened I requested to speak with either a supervisor or anyone in mgt. who could help me. So what did he do, he forwarded my call directly to my resort office. My home resort office was baffled by this move and had no idea as to why this RCI guy did this. So now my home resort is attempting on my behalf to get with RCI and figure out what's going on with this week 53 situation. I have been with RCI for over 30 years and every time I have dealt with them lately it gets more ridiculous. I'm going to start looking for another trading company because at my age I don't need the aggravation of dealing with a bunch of unprofessional employees. I read many of the remarks on this site and it's very obvious that this company is totally out of control and a class action movement should be taken to wake the management people! I just can't stand this aggravation

Every time I've tried to plan out my next vacation on RCI, searching anything takes minutes to load, and sometimes it freezes up on me entirely.

We have been a member of RCI for more then 20 years, but this will be our last. We were planning a family vacation through RCI to Colorado. The person that booked our stay entered it for 2023. Now we have 10 people with plane tickets and nowhere to stay. RCI has failed to make this right. They even have recorded conversations that never mentioned 2023. Loyalty to the customer, customer service and integrity are terrible.
