First time bidding on items from this Auction house and had a very pleasant experience. They were very easy to deal with and items were far above expectations!

What was your reply? Which email address should I send the reply to?
Purchased from the Catawiki platform!
My username is user-d61f9ff466e8. Payment was made on November 9th. Order number: #44434774. Please check! Thank you!
Received message reply: I did not receive any notification from you requesting more information about me. Freedom of speech is protected, yet you forcibly deleted my review of the seller and forcibly closed my case. I requested you to reiterate this matter, but no one responded… I have a simple question: a modern, distressed counterfeit item, with such a high reserve price from the seller, how could your "experts" allow it to be listed for auction? Do you rigorously review the information of items listed for auction? Please value the rights of buyers, carefully review the content of the dispute between the buyer and seller, and give the buyer a reasonable and fair resolution! I reiterate my request for a refund! Order number 44434774.
I don't know where to restore it, so you'll have to edit the message and reply to me.
Please check carefully again. I purchased and paid for it on November 9th.

Zhenqiang,
We now understand the confusion on your part.
First, we do not sell on Catawiki and never have. Second, we did not have any auctions online on November 9, 2025, and finally we have no order numbers of 44434774. So, to conclude you did not purchase any items from our auction on November 9, on Catawiki and have no reason to leave us negative feedback.
The only business we had with you was in April of 2025 and that deposit, made under the name and email we have on record, has been fully refunded using the same payment method as the original deposit. For your convenience, a summary of all transactions is included below. - Thursday, April 10, 2025, (4:55 pm): Invoice #001400 for May 10, 2025, auction refundable deposit: $518.50 - Friday, April 18, 2025 (4:26 pm): Refund for #JeL9 RBFineArts CFL Inc: ($518.50) As your deposit has been refunded and you were not the winning bidder for the item in question, we do not see any outstanding issues at this time. From our perspective, this matter is resolved. We wish you every success in your future endeavors.

Compendium Auction House has made sure my access to my personal data is blocked.
Compendium Auction House has a very aggressive aproach to their clients. At first instance they are threatening to charge your credit card without permission. They are not willing to solve a dispute in a realistic way. Because of this LiveAuctioneers blocks my access to my personal data untill Compendium allows it to be released. So I am depending on the approval of Compendium to be able to access my own personal data. This looks like blackmail.
Compendium has replied on my review. A few things: Without any cause Compendium threatened to use my creditcard. I have mailed them that I am against this. Secondly, I owe Compendium nothing. They straight away stated that they would resell the object. This makes any existing agreement of sale invalid. Third: Any action of blocking my account through a dispute is in that case purely revenge. My personal data is my property and nobody is allowed to keep my data hostage indefinite this way.

We understand the frustration a person can have when they do not understand a process to pay an invoice for an online purchase. That said, we did go over the instructions with you via email but for some unknown reason you felt that it was aggressive and abusive to help you with your payment process.
Since you did not pay your invoice, we filed a dispute of nonpayment as described in our terms and conditions you agreed to when you registered to bid in our auction.
As for the credit card autopay, you signed up for that with your Live Auctioneers platform account but again you may have missed that in their terms and conditions. No one is, was or plans to blackmail any of your information.
We process tens of thousands of invoices every year and some people have issues, and we reach out to help them with success the majority of the time. Your inability to accept help or be offended by it does not reflect on our company but you as a customer.
Your email and conduct are unacceptable for the many people in our offices and with Live Auctioneers Platform customer service that tried to help you:
Hello Suckers,
I left a negative review for LiveAuctioneers And I intend to do the same for Compendium Auction House. Besides I have cancelled my creditcard.
We wish you good luck in future endeavors and hope you can find some kindness somewhere.

I can not recommend RBFineArts
Based on my seller experience with RBFineArts, I cannot recommend them and would strongly advise anyone to find an alternative auction company. RBFineArts is a modest, family run online auction company and the best way to describe my experience is "they put their company's interest first and the customer's interest second". I signed their consignment agreement in May 2024, online auctions were held in June/July but I did not get paid until December 2024. Their consignment contract reads "all (payment) checks will be mailed to the consignor at least 30 days after the close of the auction". Even after waiting months, I had to file a claim against RBFineArts in Small Claims court to ensure payment. Secondly, their consignment agreement requires you to pay a fee of 5% of the reserve price if the item does not sell. Because I did not place a reserve, many of the items sold for a much lower value. I know that any auction is a gamble subject to whoever shows up on that day to bid. However, from my pre-auction conversations with RBFineArts, I was led me to believe at their buyer audience was robust, that reserves were not necessary and that my items should sell on their auction site for "thousands" of dollars. That did not happen!
