Was happy with purchase price and…
Was happy with purchase price and auction fees. However not aware of shipping cost to Canada and extra duties had to pay and packaging fees that added additional 150% mark up on purchase of item

We are glad you were happy with your item you purchased at our auction company. We do completely agree with the cost of shipping the carriers charge and feel the rising cost of shipping materials and carriers charges need to be adjusted.

Lot description is fine
Lot description is fine, but you have to use their own shipping and the shipping cost is so high. They do not recommend any other shippers. I will hesitate to do business with them again. If I do, I will lower my bid price by $100 for mid sized item because I know their shipping will make so much money

We understand your frustrations with the cost of shipping as the carriers continue to raise their rates. We do offer third party options in the terms and in an email sent to every buyer: "If you are not satisfied with our shipping options, please make other arrangements to ship your item and contact us about those shipping details." Maybe you missed that section of the email. We offer our preferred packer/shipper because we understand the issues of buying in an online auction and then contact surrounding shipping stores for quotes and paying pick up and transport fees and then paying the shipping company you choose. We are the auction company, like many more are becoming, that offer a direct and hassle free option with packing and shipping so the buyer can enjoy the purchase and receive the treasure they purchased with less stress. So, we are disappointed that you do not appreciate or understand our auction services but do appreciate your business. Kindest regards.

Mixed review
I'd give 5 stars to the auction house. I'd give 1 star to the shipping department: I ended up paying almost 50% of the cost of the items for shipping, which I feel is beyond the pale. I will not participate in any future auctions because of this.

In regards to shipping
In regards to shipping. All my 50 molds were thrown into box loose and since each heavy all shifted in box to the sides. Although bubble wasn’t required, wrapping in some basic newspaper so they don’t scratch should be the bare minimum. This is careless.

Auction was fine, pricy shipping
Auction was fine - typical premium and lot was as described. Shipping is pricy and poorly executed. In this case, a train in it's original container was wrapped in a single layer of brown tissue paper, and placed in a mailing envelope and then shipped by fedex. I would have expected a small box, with paper or bubble wrap at half the price.
