The BEST bang-for-the-buck hosting.
Aside from ridiculously cheap servers, their support is phenomenal. Asked for 8 extra IPs through tickets as low priority, job done and replied within 6 minutes. I am sticking with them for any further personal projects. Keep up the good work!

Good experience with Racknerd
I purchased a VPS from Racknerd during Black Friday, no complaints or regrets. I only had to contact their customer support once for a question I had and I got a response in under 10 minutes. Probably going to be deploying another VPS with them before the year end, since I have a VPS up for renewal elsewhere in about two weeks.

I grabbed a deal on a VPS with RackNerd in 2020 and have just renewed for another year. As far as I can tell, downtime over the past twelve months has been near zero. I have contacted support once or twice about minor things and the response time is fast.
I feel I am getting a lot for what I pay.

cPanel Reseller, 50GB:
1. Snappy, can't feel ANY hiccups even with apparent loads at 5-8 cores.
2. Tried a lot of different Softaculous installs and uninstalls and everything works so far.
3. MultiPHP Manager + Select PHP Version is a great combo for fooling around with Softaculous installs. Server currently has Ioncube support for up to PHP 7.4.
4. cPanel has really become a lot more user-friendly in the past 5 years or so that I haven't used it. Or maybe it was all there and I just didn't know about it. It's such a complete product compared to DA with a lot more documentation to help noobs like me fool around. Yes, I know it's pricy, but RackNerd isn't charging any more than other providers' DA-based reseller plans. Which makes the RackNerd plan all the more dear, as cPanel hosting doesn't come that cheap any more.
5. Con: Not specific to RackNerd, but is a general limitation for all shared hosting: email deliverability over the default IP sucks. In RackNerd's case, they pay for your e-mails to tech giants' domains (Gmail, Hotmail, etc.) via Mailbaby/Mailchannels, but for the rest of the internet, whatever app you're using has to support third-party SMTP. This will be less of a problem once I learn how to get PHPMailer set up.
1.2GB & 2GB VPS (flash sale)
Great at idling.
(I haven't been able to play with them yet)
4GB VPS (flash sale)
Great as a light-use remote desktop with Ubuntu 21.10 (forgot what flavor I put in there), NoMachine, and TeamViewer. Not sure I want to get into heavier use as the 2vCPUs can spike to 100% easily when Firefox is turned on. I'll find something else for it down the line, I think.
SPECIAL MENTION:
Best, fastest support EVER, hands-down. Trumps providers that are well-known for good support which is generally 2-4 hours' response time. RackNerd support is more like 2-4 MINUTES. Crazy, unsustainable, but it's true lol. Just don't abuse their helpfulness, learn how to do your own stuff, only ask when something is unsolvable from the client side.
Honestly, I'd almost completely lost interest in web hosts and VPSes for 5 years, so my idle Linode, Ramnode, and Buyshared services have not been logged into more than once a year. Then RackNerd came into view with a bunch of amazing offers at the LowEndTalk forum. The entire BF week was a party, and I doubt Dustin got more than 4 hours of sleep a day hosting it. The thread is currently at 299 pages, 1.8M views, and 9k comments. :-)

2 Years with RackNerd. Here’s to the next 2!
I have been a client with RackNerd for 2 years now. The first order of mine which I ordered 2 years ago is still something I’m using to this day, it is a cPanel hosting service which has been running reliably (it hosts my main ecommerce biz). Their shared hosting includes free backups with JetBackup. That’s a useful feature I had to use several times when I found myself accidentally deleting files!
Today I just turned online a VPS in preparation for my new store that I’m helping my cousin set up. His set up called for a VPS based on the requirements of his script. This is actually my first VPS that I’ve worked with.
Customer service is top notch (responsive), special thanks to Anthony in customer service for helping me out with a CyberPanel install on my newest VPS order.
Their services are instantly provisioned so no time is wasted waiting for the hosting services to get setup and running.
Cheers to the first 2 years! Looking forward to another 2 years of hosting here, I’ll be a customer for life so long as this continues :)

I have 22 VPS’s here. Overall solid experience
I bought 20 VPS’s here back in September during a special deal they were offering and the VPS servers have been running smoothly. I actually had 2 VPS’s before I bought the 20 VPS so now I have a total of 22 deployed with them. RackNerd offers different datacenter locations for VPS, I believe off the top of my head LA, NY, TX, FL and maybe some more I might not be remembering to mention, personally I have all my VPS but 2 deployed in LA (the two are in NY). The CPU’s that they use are Intel Xeon so they aren’t poor quality desktop CPU like my old OVH server was. Network speeds are superb, I use some of the VPS’s to run a vpn peer to peer network node and it’s been able to handle multiple concurrent connections without any bottlenecks. Let’s talk about customer support since I believe that is a must! I had to contact support on two occasions. Once because I needed one of my VPS to be reset since I messed up on a configuration. Second because I needed advice on whether or not I should be running on AlmaLinux or centos 8. Both times RackNerd’s customer service people were extremely helpful, I learned that I missed the fact they had a control panel available for all VPS’s to reset and change the OS. Btw if you’re like me and didn’t know the control panel details are in your email, you can log in there and do a bunch of things including the option to reset your VPS or to change its OS. Also RackNerd has AlmaLinux support which my previous host didn’t have at the time I used them, that’s a good sign since CentOS 8 is basically done for after this year. Anyway I just wanted to write about my experience and at the same time offer help to anyone reading this. If anyone has any questions or needs help setting up any of their VPS’s I am always happy to lend a hand (for free ofc).

I love these guys
So far I have nothing but good things to say about them, they do what they promise, and site load times are actually fast. I moved over my first website here 6 months ago? (maybe 8? I don’t remember time flies) but just a few weeks ago when my Bluehost subscription expired I moved over my other website over too. They assisted with the migration and they made it seamless, which I appreciated since by no means I consider myself an expert in the field of tech. I’m the type that knows my way around the street but if you start getting too technical with me I completely blank out. Racknerd’s customer service has been understanding and was able to answer my concerns and explain it in a way I could understand. I wish I had more to say...and I’m sure there would be if I understood more things about servers, but all I know is that it works as it should be and that I’m happy. Thanks Racknerd team!

Support and Network is amazing.
Racknerd is the best hosting company I’ve met. They have quick, straight to the point support and are very helpful on any need of mine. Today is my one year anniversary with Racknerd and I just renewed my service with them, so I figured now would be a good time to share my experience now that I actually have both experience and time.
Starting off with the network, its stable and I haven’t noticed any packet loss. The previous VPS provider I used often faced packet loss in certain hours, whether that was due to saturation or something else I don’t know but that issue has not happened with Racknerd at all in the year I have been hosting there. My warm words should also be addressed to the support team, because as I mentioned they are straight to the point, no fuss, and provide answers to my questions at any time of the day or night, and the answers are complete.
