I ordered a 2011 6.7 Diesel engine for over 8000.00 around November 23 and was promised 7-10 day delivery. After two weeks I called and was told they were running it through tests to insure quality. They meant 7-10 business days! I received the engine December 23. It was installed December 28, 2020 only to find three cylinders not firing. When I called they advised me to pay for a compression check and they would “try to push a warranty through.” When I asked about the tests they did they said they don’t provide those results! (BTW.. did I mention the engine I received was drop shipped from another state and was never in their shop to be tested in the first place!!??) After that was done and I called for my warranty I was transferred to the warranty supervisor. I left numerous messages and he NEVER returned any of the calls. I tried to speak to someone else but was either transferred immediately and then disconnected or just disconnected as soon as I started talking. It is now March 2, 2021. I had to purchase another engine elsewhere and pay for another install. I have a total of 23000.00 in this endeavor and there junk engine and my core still sitting in my driveway. I can’t even get an answer to get rid of it and won’t for fear that’s when they’ll ask for it back for the warranty. They have been sued under various names and I will be adding my name to that list. They are a horrible business to deal with and the attorney general should work to shut these guys down for good!! STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THEM AS POSSIBLE!!!! I GAVE THEM 1 STAR BECAUSE IT WOULDN’T LET ME GIVE THEM ZERO!!

Ordered an engine on 1/20/21 and spoke with the manager John beforehand stating we needed the delivery company to provide a lift gate to get it off the truck. When the engine showed up on 2/5/21, the company had nothing to get it off the truck. We asked for it to be re-delivered with something to get it off the truck and that was scheduled for 2/10/21. When it did not show up we called and called getting the run around until we were told it was returned and a refund for 75% was being processed. After calling numerous people; Dale, Austin, Scott, Lisa, and John, we found out that it had been authorized for return on 2/9/21 by some company called Intermountain Auto Recycling. Yet when we argued to get at least the full refund they claimed that the re-delivery was attempted on 2/10/21 and it was turned away do to the driver not having an electric power jack. So they stole a 25% restock fee from us after not delivering it and processing an unauthorized return a day before it supposedly tried to re-deliver.

DO NOT BUY AN ENGINE FROM "QUALITY USED ENGINES" they are junk! I have 2 issues with this company. First, they say it has 87k miles but it looks more like 250k with no paper work on mileage. Second, they say that clean inspect, clean and run the engines which is a complete lie. My engine 4.7l Jeep GC has about 167k (broken rod bearing) under valve covers looks brand new and no rust spots on the outside of the engine. Engine that they sent me under the valve covers completely caked in sludge and almost rusted out on the bottom and just looks like junk. Mechanic said he wouldn't install because it wouldn't last long. So my review is that they don't sell you a cleaned and inspected engine and this company is garbage just like the engines they sell to innocent people. DO NOT BUY FROM "QUALITY USED ENGINES".

Review as of 2021 horrible service, extremely late shipping, bad engine, paid for a 54k miles engine but had 187k miles on engine, engine wasn’t even working when installed had to pay the mechanic almost 2k of labor. Quality engines say they have warranty on labor and engine but they lie because they won’t help you at all I got a refund 2 months later but they took 25% so basically spent 2k for labor and still don’t have a vehicle they did not pay for labor.... and they took 480$ from my refund so I spent almost 3k for nothing and they got 480$ for nothing 100% scam this is a 2021 review so this is updated and recently please guys I promise you this is 100% a scam beware and stay away look at their ratings it’s 1 star their reviews on website are fake I would give no stars if possible

No stars if I could. Horrible customer service.... NEVER I REPEAT NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FORM THEM .... scam scam scam.

11/16/20 I signed the invoice to complete the purchase of the engine. 12/15/20 I receive the engine. 12/18/20 I find the timing belt has been replaced and installed incorrectly. I used my bore scope and clearly see valve damage. I contacted the company and left a message with invoice number and contact information and my concern about the engine. One week later no response at all. I remove the heads to determine if they are salvageable. The heads turn out to be garbage. I email the company on 12/26/20. I contact a manger 12/28/20 in the afternoon. I get treated like it is my fault I was sent a bad engine. He asks for photos of the valve damage I send them to him. 12/31/20 I contact the manager and am told there will be a decision on 1/4/21. 1/4/21 I contact the manager after 2 attempts and am told they can not help me because the heads have been removed from the engine. I am told I was supposed to have installed a bad engine in my car and have it towed to a repair shop so the repair shop could tell them the engine is bad. In 27 years of being a mechanic in this business I have NEVER dealt with a company as fraudulent as this one. It is a shame places like this are in business. They are the reason this industry gets a bad name. I hope this helps someone from making the mistake I made of ordering an engine from this place. The woman who answered the phone and told me the engine had been compression tested was friendly.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU THINK IT WILL SAVE YOU... If there were negative stars there would not be enough of them to give. This company is seriously fraud all day every day. I bought an engine back in September took over a month to finally receive the engine the engine they sent me will not go in my car, even checked with the dealership on more than one occasion. I have a Rav4 they sent me a older Scion engine. They refuse to take it back, they keep sending me to a supervisor that never answers the phone even after leaving 10 voicemails in a week. When I did finally talk to him after a few weeks he told me my car could be modified to use the engine they sent. I am a single mom on a budget and they want me to use the wrong engine that i Did NOT order by changing things in my car !!!. It is now almost Christmas and I still don't have my car back because I have to finish paying off the mechanic for the other engine I had to buy and I still can't get my money back or get them to come get the engine. The whole company is a LIE! Save yourself right now by going elsewhere!
