What a nightmare !!! Lets begin with Waynesha .... I'm still not sure why she is still employed in a customer service capacity. In Fact, everyone is ill equipped to deal with clients. They give standard canned responses to direct questions and concerns to the point of being condescending. Too much contradictory information ( provided you actually CAN speak to someone.) The phone service is set up in such a way they know what numbers you call from. I had to actually spoof my number to get thru. When I did and I asked " Do you know who this is? " When I told her, dead silence!!! Maybe it was my fault for reserving and fully paying for a puppy who was 5 weeks old. The breeder happens to not release these small breed dogs until 11 weeks. To say the least this has been a very long and painful process. Finally I had to flex my legal muscle. When I threatened legal action, I received a call just this past Saturday telling me that PS will be cancelling my delivery of my puppy ( which was not until 7/26). " Since you are already talking about legal action, we feel this is not the right fit for you" I was actually relieved ... And who prey tell will compensate me for the $1000.00 worth of puppy paraphernalia from Chewys? Fast forward 48 hours I have received a full refund ( $3300.00 ) to my Amex this morning. The only thing they ever acted on quickly ( because I had to threaten to sue ) The dogs are marked up over 250% ... I have read many very recent scathing reviews, BELIEVE THESE REVIEWS !!!! Run quickly in the other direction from these people.

I purchase April/Molly from puppy spot ( cocker spaniel pupp) She is the sweetest and very playful I just love her. The staff was very good in keeping me up to date. I purchase Molly when she was only 4 weeks old so I had to wait four weeks until she was 8 weeks. I picked her up at the airport on June 27th. She was happy and clean Healthy. to my questions.

The worst ever!! They never return calls and the puppys are not vet checked. My baby is full of parasites and worms!!! Beware

From the time we requested a female Pembroke Corgie puppy, our experience with Puppy Spot was excellent. We were given a choice of several little girls to choose from and zeroed in on our fur baby. We made our decision and our little girl arrived shortly thereafter with health records and all the necessary paperwork. The whole procurement process was very smooth and organized. We took our puppy to our longtime vet, and he said that she was not only cute but very healthy. Our corgi turns a year next week, and she is a gem. Thank you, Puppy Spot.

BEWARE DON'T USE PUPPYSPOT!!! Too bad I didn't know about this review site before I bought a puppy. I adopted a German Shepherd puppy through PuppySpots website. There was a photo of the puppy I adopted as well as a photo of her sister. I could choose between the two but I chose the one I did because she had very different features and markings. I have website photos of both puppies and without a doubt, the breeder gave me the sister and not the puppy I adopted. I paid $4,100.00 for the puppy I adopted and her sister was $2,000 plus. I've had this puppy since 5/19/19 and no way could she have such drastic changes in her appearance. I started contacting PuppySpot about 1 1/2 weeks ago. I sent some photos of the puppy and requested that they let me know they had received them. NOTHING. I've left phone messages and emails for the three people involved with the adoption and I've never heard back from any of them. I was persistent and I finally spoke to someone at one of the many, many phone numbers listed and the lady told me they did receive the photos, they needed to contact the breeder, and the company turned my complaint over to an advocate. Every phone number and website email always (for me) led me back to the same recorded message... even when I tried to contact the corporate office. Regardless of the breeders qualifications, what breeder would ever admit they switched puppies? Have they even spoken to him? When I picked my puppy up from the breeder, he had put her in a crate and met me at a parking area. I thought she looked a little different from her website photos but I hadn't seen her up close before. She smelled so bad that we stopped to get air fresheners for the car and had a vet/groomer try to get her ears clean. Funny thing...when I met the breeder, he told me he wanted to keep the puppy I adopted but when he called PuppySpot to get her back they told him she had been adopted. When I was registering my puppy with AKC the paperwork said if I bred her, her puppies couldn't be registered as the breeder did limited registration. "offspring of this dog not eligible for registration" Although I had no plans to breed her it was kind of a shock when I paid what I did for her and you can't register her puppies. We love the puppy we got, but I thought how sad that she wasn't valuable enough to the breeder to keep if that's the case.

Buying from puppyspot is essentially the same thing as buying from a puppy mill or any "backyard breeder." They are a puppy broker, plain and simple. They buy pups from unprofessional breeders that basically can't sell the pups any other way, write up generic descriptions of the pups on their website, and mark them up to ridiculous prices. Puppyspot has no pictures of the dam & sire, no pedigrees that they can show you, and can't tell you a single thing about the temperament or personality of any given dog because they have NO idea (nor concern) as to what they are selling you. I inquired about a pup and repeatedly asked to see the parents' pedigrees. After having to ask several times, I was sent just ONE parent's pedigree, which had lines blacked out with a Sharpie marker. The other parent's pedigree was never sent to me. The pedigree I was sent was most definitely NOT impressive. I repeatedly asked for them to contact the breeder directly and get information on this particular pup's personality - they never did. After about two weeks of basically begging them for information, the dog was noted as sold. Just for a laugh, I inquired about another pup. This time I was assigned to a different salesperson - but they are obviously all trained to avoid the same questions. This salesperson won't send me copies of pedigrees either. Any dog breeder worth their weight is NOT going to sell dogs this way, to a company like this. Take the time to do your research on breeders and buy directly from a reputable breeder. Any breeder can ship a puppy safely via a variety of means of transport, distance is not an issue, so don't be afraid to buy your pup from an out-of-state breeder if you have to. Just don't buy one from Puppyspot. You are unfortunately getting the lowest of the low quality.

I really should have listened to the other reviews. Great idea, but terrible company. Throughout this entire experience, it has been extremely difficult to get ahold of our customer service rep once the "Sale" of the puppy is complete. Response times from customer service through the app, phone and email are very slow, and I will typically hear a vague answer back in 48-72 hours that usually doesn't answer my questions. Throughout the entire process in working PuppySpot, I was not told of any details until the very last minute. Everytime I followed up, I was told I will find out later. Come the day of travel for my puppy. PuppySpot did not set up the flight with the airport of our choice and didn't tell us until the day before the actual flight, so we had to take the day off to make the drive since the airport is farther. To make matters worse, the flight got delayed from 1pm until 8:30pm. Then another delay from 8:30 until 9:30. I was not notified by anyone until we were told at the airport at 1pm trying to pick up the puppy and was told by the airline that we will have to wait 7 hours in the airport. After we brought out puppy home,I took my puppy to the vet the very next day. We found out he has infected ears and giardia, a parasite. I am currently trying to use the health guarantee that puppyspot provides and was told someone will get back to me in 24-48 hours. It has been days and I still have not gotten a response. Overall, it's been a very poor experience and not worth the money I have paid.
