My puppy is now named Heidi, and she is doing well. I think someone taught her to sit before I got her. Potty training is a challenge, but I think she is beginning to get the hang of it. She is good staying in the crate when I have to leave my house. All the paperwork for her was taken care of. She has a health guarantee and she had an ear infection which my veterinarian had me medicate. I think it's gone now. Will know for sure when she has her next appointment.

Johncho and puppyspot in MHO are the greatest. My experience with puppy spot and my puppy concierge Johncho was A+. We purchase a puppy that we then a week later had to cancel due to health issues. Puppyspot promptly refunded my money and once I had a better idea of what was going on I again contacted Johncho as he had done such a wonderful job communicating with me, I found him to be warm caring and funny. He seemed willing to go above and beyond what was required for his job! All it took on my part was a williness to be kind and understand customer service isn't the easiest job around. If your looking for great customer service ask for JOHNCHO when you make that first call, you will be happy you did! Rose my German Shepherd puppy arrived by charter flight with an attendant and was delivered to my door by Rick in a puppy cab happy healthy curious active and cuddly I couldn't be happier! Worth every penny! No 2 year wait no maybe get the gender I wanted depending on what number pick I was in the litter. No heartbreak if shelter dog wasn't represented right or rescue went bad. Call puppyspot and JOHNCHO you'll be glad you did I was!

After putting a deposit on a puppy from Puppy Spot without any prior knowledge of how to ethically adopt a (healthy) dog, we ran into red flags with the process and started digging. What we found is that Puppy Spot has changed its name from Purebred Breeders LLC, and rebranded itself after a series of lawsuits and bad press. From the Humane Society Blog, August 22, 2017: “Our investigation of Purebred Breeders LLC (now called Puppy Spot) was featured on the Today Show in 2011, after we reported that the site had approximately 800 different web urls, and misled consumers into thinking they were buying from small, local breeders; instead, many consumers ended up with sick puppies from questionable sellers.” Our personal experience involved very shady customer service reps who couldn’t answer any questions about our dog’s lineage or the breeder’s licensing, how Puppy Spot inspects and approves breeders, what type of breeding facility he comes from, etc. They turned defensive and angry when we pushed for answers. We did some online sleuthing and found the breeder ourselves and got in touch directly - but Puppy Spot does everything possible to prevent that happening. The dogs are marked up by an insane margin. We paid $3,000 for our dachshund, which I now realize is very high even for show breeders. Our breeder told us she got less than $1,000 from Puppy Spot for that sale. To make matters worse, Puppy Spot tried to charge us a delivery fee after promising that the fee would be waived since we were traveling to pick up the puppy ourselves. They changed their tune afterwards, saying that the delivery fee covers travel papers. (He did not come with any kind of travel papers - just the standard vet check forms that all dogs come with). Puppy spot preys on people who don’t know what questions to ask. Their breeder partners are not legitimate. Their customer service agents can’t answer the most basic questions, and repeat phrases like “I can assure you our breeders are required to meet the highest standards.” They work on commission and want your money. What I’ve learned since, is that a reputable breeder will have no problem answering your questions. Furthermore, a reputable breeder won’t need to use a third party broker site like Puppy Spot. I hope anyone reading this learns from our experience. Read the reviews on TrustLink, Consumer Reports, TrustPilot, and Better Business Bureau, of both Puppy Spot and Purebred Breeders LLC. The cumulative bad experiences are there for all to see. Don’t write them off.

We have tried to reach out to Rebecca to discuss her concerns on numerous occasions and have yet to have our inquires returned. We look forward to being able to discuss her concerns. We have a robust breeder program aligned with USDA standards with the assistance of our Scientific Advisory Board and our partnership with American Humane. These and other best practices ensure our No Puppy Mill Promise We also are the only place where new puppy owners have the comfort of a 10 year Health Guarantee once their puppy comes home. Information about of all of these programs and more is available at our website and as stated above, we very much hope to be able to discuss with Rebecca should she desire.

As a first time puppy owner I was so delighted to pick out our lab/retriever and spent a lot of time educating of what would be needed. Unfortunately our puppy arrived with the deadly puppy virus called Parvo her first day which she was exposed to at the breeder 7-10 days prior and was confirmed. She almost died and we are in a slow recovery process. What I have learned after consulting two veterinary specialist is that her first vaccines were not managed properly, given too early and close together and not by a proven veterinarian rather the breeder. Puppy Spot has been slow to act in terms of their health guarantee and the expensive reimbursements due to her highly specialized medical care not to mention the high emotional toll on all of us. I have learned they have no real way to guarantee the health of the puppies and their care before you receive them which had been heartbreaking and incredibly distressful. They put all the work on you to prove your new beloved puppy is ill which is additionally distressful. If my puppy survives it will NOT be because of Puppy Stop and no proven health guarantee whatsoever. I would encourage anyone thinking of using this organization to consider other options to ensure the delivery of a healthy and life long member of your family. Don’t go through this heartbreak.

While we know that dealing with a puppy's issues as a first time puppy owner can be difficult, we also have been assisting Cindy with her concerns every step of the way. Her puppy's vaccinations were indeed administered per AAHA guidelines under the vaccination program outlined by the breeder's vet. And while it has been difficult with her puppy's illness, we have supported Cindy and her family through each step. Part of our need for diagnostic documentation is to allow for our medical staff to review the breeder from where Cindy got their puppy. This is part of our ongoing evaluation of all our breeders and this documentation is critical for that program. As for her puppy's illness, this is precisely why our Health Guarantee requires vet visits both before travel from their breeder and once home with their family. They are young, and sometimes illness can occur. These vet visits allow for immediate medical attention where needed and our follow up support via our Health Guarantee. We continue to assist Cindy, her puppy and her family per that Guarantee.
