Overall, the service with PuppySpot was far better than I expected. My new baby, a Pomsky, was delivered to me on the day as planned and she was clean in her travel crate after flying and in a car all day. Accountability is why I didn’t rank a 5 star. I requested pics of the parents of my dog and still have not received it. Also, the paperwork says my puppy would have a microchip and I have no paperwork to confirm if she does or not. It appears that after PuppySpot representatives get their money, it is more difficult to get a hold of someone to talk too for any questions. The autobot which can answer some of the questions, it’s better to discuss with a “live” person.

The goldendoodle puppy I purchased through Puppy Spot has serious behavioral issues that were never discussed with me prior to my purchase. When I got back to them to advise them that the puppy appeared to have been either abused or completely ignored, they became very defensive and did not want to discuss further.

My experience with Puppy Spot was better than I could have expected. I appreciated the prompt updates and instant answers to all my questions. My puppy - renamed THELMA - arrived tail wagging and just so happy and well adjusted. The vet said he had never seen ears so clean on a puppy. She is the apple of my eye. Very happy - and if I decide to add a "Louise" to the house I'll definitely be contacting Puppy Spot again.

First off, I didn't know the actual breeder she was coming from until after I secured her. I did a little research on that breeder and sure enough it's a puppy mill. There is a reason they make it so difficult to find out the breeder. On top of that, she came covered in poop from the flight. Then she had an ear infection and giardia from her first vet appointment. Given the amount of money they charge, I would've expected more.

Everything was a five star experience except for delivery day. Going through the purchasing process was a breeze and everyone I spoke with were helpful and nice. The app was easy to use and I received instant answers to any question. Then the day of delivery it was radio silence. No window of delivery, no confirmation that the puppy was on his way nor that he made it. We were just at home not knowing when he would arrive. I got to the point where I thought it was a scam because I couldn’t get an answer from anyone involved in the process. Quite the opposite of any prior experience. We did receive our puppy and he is amazing. The breeder even reached out to see if we had any questions. Overall, amazing. Just really stressful day of- I hope it changes for people in the future.
