WE RECEIVED A SICK DOG AND IT'S GOING ON 2 MONTHS SICE WE RECEIVED HIM
Horrible Experience so far! We have also asked you to change his name from Hayes to Ponzu. That hasn't been done. According to the AKC, the microchip number you've given us is incorrect, as we can't get it to work. It looks like we're going to have to go the legal route, as there is no way you or your team didn't know about Ponzu's health issues, which are closing in on $1,000 for us. Sick right from the time he was dropped off. Ponzu was delivered in a truck much like an Amazon truck. We asked to see the inside of the truck, and the driver told us that was illegal for us to look, which we found surprising. Followed up on that and were told that seeing inside the truck is not illegal. Once we got Ponzu into our home, he started coughing and snorting, and he has done so constantly since he arrived on 07/09/2026, which is almost 6 weeks now. We've taken him to the Vet 3 times now, and they have given him multiple medications that haven't solved the problem. We love this little puppy, as he does have a great personality, but with what's going on and no answers from the Vet, we are worried. We did purchase puppy insurance prior to getting him, which Puppyspot requires, and we are glad we did in this case, but we are very upset that Puppyspot would send out an already sick puppy. We questioned whether to buy this puppy from an online seller, but my wife is in her late 70s, and I am in my early 80s, so it was the easiest and most convenient option. I definitely wouldn't buy a dog this way again and certainly wouldn't recommend Puppyspot, especially after our problems with Ponzu and the lack of help from Puppyspot. The above problem is the major one, but we've had many other problems that are not mentioned here. Here it is 2 months later after writing the first part of this complaint and our dog with the same problems and getting worse. We're having to spend more money according to the Vet to find out why he is hacking and spitting up yellow green flem! For all we know this puppy could up and die and we can't get answers. Caution when dealing with PuppySpot!
