Puppy with Tapeworm. AI Response
Our vet identified that our new puppy had tapeworms. Bummer--but we understand and we are treating them. Most likely her puppy siblings also have tapeworms. When we reported this to Puppyspot--we got a generic response that felt AI generated. We are sincerely concerned about the other owners and their new puppies ..potentially having tapeworms but not getting treated promptly. But with the type response we received we have no way of knowing if it has being addressed. Pretty sad. You would think after paying over $3,000 to Puppyspot they would have customer service to let us know this has been addressed. Our puppy arrived clean and well cared for..no complaints there.

Thank you for sharing your experience, and we’re sorry to hear about the tapeworms your puppy is dealing with. While we’re glad you’re taking care of the issue, we completely understand your concern for other puppies from the same litter. It’s disappointing that the response you received felt impersonal, and we regret that we didn’t provide the reassurance you were looking for. We take health concerns very seriously, and we want to assure you that we will follow up internally to ensure this matter is addressed with the breeder and other new puppy owners. Your feedback is important, and we’ll work to improve how we communicate these types of issues in the future. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we’re happy to hear your puppy arrived well cared for. If you need further assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out again.
