I want to share how grateful we are to have had pet insurance for our beloved Otis with Pumpkin Insurance. Pumpkin has been our insurance for years and when it came to urgent care, routine vet services, they can’t be beat as claims could be processed in as little as 15 minutes with the funds being deposited immediately. Where they really came through for us is we recently had an emergency requiring hospitalization for my German Shepherd. His prognosis was good, but the bill was over $11k. I was so worried. Understandably, it was a large vet bill and required additional review. Less than a week after I submitted the claim, Pumpkin reimbursed us the 90% as that is the rate in our policy. They helped during a really stressful time and made it possible for us to focus on choosing the best care for our beloved dog. I cannot recommend them enough. She required an overnight stay at an emergency hospital for observation, and it was determined that she would need surgery to remove the remaining pieces of foam after I got home.
