I have short term vacation rentals insured with Proper Insurance. Last year I had a claim that was handled by Peter Grubbs that was a great experience. Recently, I was having some work being done in another one of my properties. A contractor was doing some plumbing work that resulted in a leak from the heating oil tank. The contractor reported the matter to his insurance company, but I wasn’t sure if things were going as they should. I gave Peter a call and explained the situation to him. He advised me how to proceed and even spoke with the adjuster to make sure I wasn’t being taken advantage of. And it was not a claim made under my Proper policy.
