Cade at Proper was easy to work with, efficient, educational, trustworthy. Out of the 15+ insurance companies I talked too, Proper was by far the best for STR.

Working with Proper Insurance has been great since the inception of my policy. Jordan J. was the sales agent that helped me purchase the policy. He explained everything in detail and made the process effortless. When we purchase insurance, we hope we never have to use it, and in my experience, we typically get the runaround from claims adjusters and the entire process is a mess. That being said, I did have a claim. I called Proper Insurance to notify them on a Sunday morning. Their office was closed BUT a representative, Matthew S. called me to jot down all of my claim details and to assign a claims adjuster to my case so that it would be on their desk first thing Monday morning. Today is Monday, I was contacted by the adjuster, Cullen H., provided further claims details to him as well as emailed the supporting documentation. Within a couple of hours he finished my claim, calculated my payout, and I am scheduled to receive my reimbursement in 2-4 business days via ACH (don't even need to wait on a mailed check). I have never experienced a more effortless claims filing in my life, and this is coming from someone who was previously an insurance agent for 10 years. I highly recommend Proper Insurance and will continue to use their services for the duration of my business.

They took swift action when our roof blew off in a storm and after an initial disagreement, compromised on a fair settlement and had it to us quickly without a lot of hassle. Some of our documentation was weird from another flood and covid, and we made our case based on agreeable factors and closed it. Always pleasant and helpful and sharing what she "CAN" do instead of obstructing and delaying which increasingly is the standard for modern business. Great folks and serious about looking after their customers.

My Account Executive, Taylor, was very helpful talking me through various options I had, some of which did not involve her own company. I spent a whole day talking to other companies who weren't very helpful, repeating the same information over and over, but then it all clicked after I talked to Taylor. In general, Proper Insurance is the best insurance company I have ever experienced. All of your information is ready when you call them, you get to talk to a real person soon, and that real person is EXTREMELY knowledgeable. That is why I have been a loyal customer for 3 year and will continue.

Seems like a great company. Taylor Stults is the account manager I have been working with and I couldn't recommend her more. Maybe the best customer service I have gotten with at ANY company, anywhere, let alone just insurance. She's not only super knowledgeable but trustworthy and I truly believe has my best interests at heart, not just making sales. Couldn't more highly recommend. Use for insurance for second home that I also rent out.
