Prometric scheduled me for the wrong city for the exam. I asked for Los Angeles and they gave me area in Sacramento. Not being familiar with Los Angeles, I thought it was some county in LA area. When I found out I called them back. They said I need to call in 24 hours. I called in 24 hours, they said I need to call in 48 hours. I called in 48 hours, the person that picked up was rude and told me it was my fault and they could not reschedule. I asked for the manager and the manager said they need to "investigate" and I will find out in 5 business days. It's been 6 business days - nothing. I called the number given to me as the number for the manager, I was told it was wrong number. It's been TWO WEEKS - no resolution and I am losing timeline for the exam now. Absolutely unprofessional, ineffective and kind of evil actually.

If I could give less stars I would. Both the application that they use to test remotely and their test centers are awful. Testing companies need to find a new proctor company, major interruptions during my remote test so I opted to take a retest at a test center which they canceled on a Friday two days before the test. I now have no way of contacting them because its the weekend, there are no other appointments and this is the last opportunity to take this test. I don’t see how any legitimate testing organization can have respect or trust for prometric. Really an awful corporation.

I prepared well for the CFA ESG Investing. I encountered the error "Error communicating with server" directly during the demo. I was not able to do anything. I asked my Proctor and he told me to exit the application, restart the computer and re-enter the test. I did what he told me to do but when I logged back in, and then then the same error appeared. Then I retried to contact the support and I restarted again my laptop and reinstalled the application. Then a new message appeared. I waited for a long time but still couldn't enter the test. "Please wait while your device is secured for the exam. This process should take no more than three minutes. For technical support please go to go. prometric. com/chat, then click the “Chat with an Expert” button in the bottom right of your browser window. Please note that this service is not available on Saturday’s between 6 pm and 7 am EST. If you are seeing this screen at the end of your exam, you may close the window." I tried logging out and back in many times, but after the 5th or 6th time, when I re-entered the app using Confirmation, I couldn't access it anymore. The support told me that it was too late to take my exam whereas at the beginning they told me that my exam was paused. The day after Prometric sent my the result and obviously I did not pass. I am still waiting the reply to my email from the support. They are impossible to join even by phone…

Exceptional Testing Experience I had an outstanding experience with Prometric. The registration process was straightforward, and the test center was well-organized and secure. Took my test in October, certificate was never mailed out. They claimed it was email out two days later. First time I called after a month of my test exam, they said it will get to your house and it’s probably late. Called now in May because my job had asked for the certificate and I told them I thought they had it because it was never mailed to me directly. The lady on the phone asked why did you call after 7 months and I had told her I called a month after my exam, she said there’s no note that was left that you called. Okay? Whose fault is that? Obviously prometrics employee who didn’t do their job right. First time I called, I got an attitude saying it will arrive soon. How soon I asked and she said soon with an attitude. So I called to get my certificate today and she said that she has to ask her supervisor to approve sending a duplicate and that I HAVE TO PAY AGAIN. How is it that you sent a certificate that was never arrived to my house? Not like anyone stoled it out of my mailbox with the cameras I have installed. I will not be paying to get my certificate when first employee couldn’t do her job right. Not only was it me, EVERYONE in my group who took the test with me LITERALLY had to call them a month or two after because they never received their certificate. The problem is obviously them. At this point I should get a lawyer involved. If they “claim” to leave a note and send the certificates right after the exam then none of my other classmates should have called as well just to receive it. Few still don’t even have it till now because they are tireddddd of speaking to these people

I took a whole 3 semester course and spent upwards of $2k to be able to qualify to take an exam through Prometric. I paid the application fee only for them to tell me there are no available spots left for testing. They scammed me out of money. I spent 2 hours on the phone only for them to tell me there's nothing they can do. Customer service was rude right off the bat even though I tried to be nice right away to have an easier time navigating (attracting more with honey and all that). They make it hard to contact them intentionally because they know they're ripping people off.

Staff with attitude started bad experience ; provided my drivers license for ID ; Staff didn't except written certification of completion of training as prerequisite for testing ; Oakstone representative provided certificate of training but unacceptable by staff ! Finally allowed to take exam Passed exam but staff member lost my drivers license , needless to say they say exam maybe invalid due to lack of ID

Last night I tried to sit for an exam. I went through the check in process at least four time due to the exam just disappearing or not starting. After speaking with tech support, they told me to disable my antivirus and I did. After just a few more questions, same issue. Customer services said I needed a ticket number to reschedule the exam which I was never given. I was told I could not take the exam due to having to restart the process too many time. I wish I could give no stars. I have had to talk to multiple people and still no answer as to if I will have to pay to retake the exam due to no fault of my own. This is my first and last time using this proctor. Pearson would never put people through this mess.
