Because they already have my money (£90) !!! (previous lamp lasted 2700 hours) I contacted them about this lamp failure and all they do is quote the warranty period. Yes I passed 90 days but, In my opinion, this product is not fit for purpose and I will never buy from them again.

I was sent twice a faulty lamp. Now twice is good because they did try to to deliver a proper projector lamp. Unfortunately the first one did not work at all, the second looked as if assembled with second hand parts like wrong plug, damaged insulation, missing screw and at last a light output that was half the output of my old lamp that it was supposed to replace. Not recommended ... at all.

Order never received. Called to find out where it was and they said they had no stock so they cancelled my order. I will not buy from them again.

Ordered on line, lamp arrived but didn't work. Phoned about return and they offered a replacement. Checked with them again it was the correct lamp. 2nd lamp arrived and was fitted by an electrical engineer but again it didn't work. He said it was a poorly made copy and the connecting plugs were the problem because they didn't line up accurately. Now more than 2 weeks down the line still no working projector so returned the lamp a second time and asked for full refund including my postage costs. All I got was a refund of the lamp cost and no refund on my 2 x return and original p&p - not happy!

Received my lamp 2 weeks later, install it in my projector and after about 2 hours of usage the lamp bursts and ruins my projector. Now i have to replace a $2000 projector because they wont answer my emails. What a horrible business. DO NOT BUY!!!!!

Wij hebben ruim twee weken geleden een beamerlamp besteld bij Projector Lamps World, maar beginnen ons na enkele mails ernstige zorgen te maken of we te maken hebben met oplichterij of misschien toch een zeer onprofessioneel werkend bedrijf. Op diverse vragen per mail (er is geen telnr beschikbaar) hebben geen bestelbevestiging/bon ontvangen en ook geen kloppende info over wanneer de bestelling geleverd wordt (eerdere informatie over dat de levering onderweg zou zijn, is onjuist gebleken). Wij gaan contact opnemen met Justitie / Autoriteit Consument & Markt. Als iemand tips heeft houden wij ons aanbevolen

I strongly advise you not to buy from this company. In my experience the customer service is appalling and the lamp lasted about 120 days (warranty is 90 days) and approximately 300 hours. Note that the lamp that came with the original projector that I purchased off eBay lasted 4000 hours as I reset the clock once I got the projector.

Basically they don't take into account the days of shipping and when the cheap bulb they sent me goes out they won't replace because it was day 91 from order date. They have no common sense and will not work with you at all. Says they don't carry the bulb any longer. Not sure who rated them a 5 on customer service. Here is the note I sent them. Also filed a complaint with the BBB. Our lamp recently went out under order # 10109779. According to Christina Avila-Jimenez in customer service, they are unable to ship a new one (you guys don’t have a replacement in stock) or refund due to being out of warranty by one day. I did try calling the day the warranty technically expired and no one called me back. In addition as I think through the scenario, we didn’t receive the lamp until 2/3 and installed the following weekend on 2/7. The lamp went out on 4/15 so technically only lasted 67 days. We are now at day 91 (I called on day 90) and according to policy they cannot replace or refund the bulb. I honestly ordered from them due to the 5 star customer service rating on their website given there are many other folks I could have ordered from. Given the timing of the bulb going out and the duration used, I truly believe sticking to not helping a customer one day (even though I called on day 90) past warranty is not reasonable. Not to mention, the lamp was delivered on 2/3 thus that is when the warranty should kick off. I work in the IT space and we take into account transit time and deliver prior to kicking off the warranty. Update: they offered me 12% off my next order after they received by BBB complaint. Would you order from them again knowing their customer service behavior and the quality of their bulbs? HELL NO! Jared
