Very bulky. Takes up a lot of counter space. The “flexible” hose is very rigid. The point where the hose connects to the handheld piece should be flexible to make it easier to use.

Proclaim is good, but I am not sure that it cleans my teeth and gums better than the Water Pik. I feel like the Water Pik enables me to direct a jet stream, much tinier and focused, into specific areas and my teeth feel cleaner after using the Water Pik. I use the Proclaim three times in successionto try to get as much food out of there as possible and it definitely is quicker.

This was shown in our clinical study, where Proclaim was used 1x/day at pressure setting 5. That said, it may not always remove food particles that are wedged in, so for those occasions you may need string floss or other interdental cleaning tools. Proclaim does feel different than a traditional water flosser. Our patented jet shape means each jet has a wider spray pattern, which feels different than a plain stream of water. Received my Proclaim unit about 2 weeks ago. The entire process was pretty simple (my dentist did the molds) and the wait time was totally reasonable for something that required custom work. My thoughts overall: - Purchase process was super easy - Product is well made - Instructions are clear and easy to follow - The unit is bigger and heavier than expected. So it will take up counter space or you need to store it. - Easy to use - and fast. I started on level 1 but the second time I used it went right to a 5. The entire thing is done in about 10 seconds. It really takes more time to set it up and clean than to use. (And cleaning is very simple) - The “Oral Infusion Concentrate” tastes great, is alcohol free, and leaves mouth feeling fresh. Not clear on benefit of having zinc and aloe Vera since it just rinses out. It’s a nice to have for sure but not needed. - I really expected much stronger jets on level 5. It just feels like someone is squirting water in your mouth (think kitchen sink sprayer); I was expecting more intensity. And I know it’s not a replacement for flossing and yes, they have research that claims “Proclaim has been shown to have superior performance in reducing bleeding, inflammation, and plaque accumulation compared to floss in all regions of the mouth, including hard-to-reach areas like molars” (their language). So if you have sensitive gums or trouble flossing I can totally see the benefit. But again - it’s not meant to replace flossing. And since I don’t have any trouble flossing, it’s just an added step; I haven’t yet observed much change in terms of plaque removal, water pick still works best for that. So I’m struggling to understand exactly what this is meant to do given the cost. For the price point, I do expect more than what it’s currently delivering. - They publish their research and I appreciate the transparency. Leaves your mouth feeling really fresh. If you have problems with your gums it’s probably great. If not, then you have to decide whether the added step and monetary investment is worth it. I’m going to continue to use it consistently for the next 5 months to see if there are any overall improvements over time; depending on the result will decide whether or not I keep using it. One last thought - I’ll be disappointed if it doesn’t really change anything, not just because of cost but because of waste. I don’t think one can resell the machine (NOT the mouthpiece obviously!) so that means it would go to a landfill. Unless they have some sort of recycling program like Apple does with their old devices). But going to be optimistic and see what progress can be made in the next few months.

Although it feels different, as you mentioned from our clinical study, Proclaim has been shown to have superior performance in reducing bleeding, inflammation, and plaque accumulation compared to floss in all regions of the mouth, including hard-to-reach areas like molars. Additionally, some of our customers do enjoy using Proclaim more frequently, including twice in a row. We do recommend that if you do use it more than once per day and experience any discomfort, make sure to adapt your routine accordingly and consult with your dental professional as needed. We would love to hear any additional feedback you may have once you've consistently used Proclaim and have consulted with your dentist!

Improved communications with providers? It was three weeks after the scans that I contacted you and you had not yet received the scans. I believe that fault lies with the provider on this but somehow the ball got dropped and it also reflects on your company.

Not sure if the fit is perfect and it doesn’t cover my last molar. Not happy with the fit but overall is a good device and it works.

Shardad, thank you for leaving us a review and we're so sorry to hear that you're not happy with the fit of your custom mouthpiece! Please note that there is never a jet placed behind your last molar - if there were the mouthpiece would likely not fit in your mouth! That means that the mouthpiece may not physically cover your last molars, although there are jets directed to the spaces between your last and second-to-last molars. There was no status provided of delivery and it took a very long time. No explanation of bottle of additive use. Holder for mouth piece is just a box, not a place for mouthpiece. A cover for the mouthpiece, while attached would be useful.

The customer service was great. However the product was lackluster. For me personally the water pressure wasn’t strong enough and the length of time isn’t enough to clean in between my teeth. I love the concept, I will wait for a 2.0 version. 30seconds minimum plus stronger pressure.
