The cleaning is so short it was tremendously incomplete. It left far too much residue on and between my teeth.

I wanted to like this device a lot more, because it is certainly more convenient. It seems to do a pretty good job in most areas, but it leaves a lot of buildup behind my front teeth. So it does a worse job that the WaterPik I've been using for a couple years and paid $60 for. I've contacted their support, and as far as they are concerned, the mouthpiece is made correctly according to their current engineering standards. This is disappointing but fine. These are the risks one takes for being an early adopter. Perhaps they will get better at this as time goes on, but I'm not about to drop hundreds of dollars more to find out. However, I think it is important for others considering it to know about experiences like mine. One frustration: their support has the same canned marketing boilerplate in almost every email (which they repeat in responses to reviews here). They constantly trot out their study that shows the device is better than flossing. They keep telling me this in spite of my repeatedly making it clear that they compare unfavorably to a different water irrigator for me. Also, it is "their" study - they paid for it and conducted it. So it should be taken with a massive grain of salt. **Regarding Their Reply** In keeping with past conversations, they constantly ignore or forget relevant details discussed with them. This isn't a matter of "wedged in debris" between teeth but plaque on the gum line and surface of the tooth near spaces (just depressed enough to be poorly reached by my electric toothbrush). They also don't care to acknowledge that this is an issue I never had with a much cheaper water irrigator by a different company. It's interesting to see them shift their focus from their claims of superiority over floss to a seeming acknowledgement that they may only be a supplement to it (though, again, I've had better results with a WaterPik and no floss for several years prior to trying Proclaim). Anyone into the idea of flossing to pick up what your expensive floss alternative routinely misses?

It took absolutely forever to receive my product.(a little less than three months parentheses… No communication from the company at all and unless I ask, and the answer was vague.

The product was sold to me on the basis or replacing my tooth brush but after use and even on the strongest setting there's still buildup on my teeth. It's better to say it replaces flossing but not the actual brushing. For me at least
