The item stops before all water is gone, so I have to push the button a few extra times to finish. Is this normal?

I’m still on the fence whether to keep or return the Proclaim water flosser. While the unit seems well-built and it provides a fairly strong flow, it does not seem to direct the jets of water into the spaces between my teeth, especially the molars. I have fairly large spaces between my rear two molars, top and bottom, such that I use a rubber tipped gum pick that easily inserts in the space. A typical water pick can actually shoot water from the outer surface of my teeth/gum to the inside. But I don’t feel the water jet from my Proclaim making the same passage through. Perhaps my mouthpiece was not calibrated properly (?)

Nice product, cleans quickly. Not much more effective than top of the line water pik for cleaning, just quicker, and maybe that is worth it.

While the reservoir looks small, Proclaim has been shown (in our clinical study) to be highly effective in reducing bleeding, inflammation, and plaque accumulation, all with the 22oz of water flowing through your Custom Mouthpiece!

Molar and premolar cleaning are very good, canine / incisor cleaning ok. Extremely tight fit to get into my mouth. Your measurements should include MIO / Maximal Incisal Opening. My MIO is only 25 mm ( normal is 40mm ) and sometimes inserting the proclaim causes fissures at a labial corner. Shaving even 1mm from the device height would be much better.

The bad: months to take delivery (meanwhile you’ve been charged in full!), the top of the water reservoir is not positively attached in any way (easy to get bumped off) and for unknown reasons the connector for the reservoir to the base is off-centered so that it takes more fiddling than should be necessary to mount in after filling. Takes up a LOT of counter space. Rinse additive doesn’t come in economically sized (and priced) containers. The good: well, it seems to work as advertised. I am not certain it can truly replace floss as it can’t get very stuck bits out of tight spaces, but certainly a huge step forward in the “rinsing between meals” department. Water instrument cord doesn’t get tangled - nice design!

1. Communication was poor from order point to shipment. No expectations set on the front end. You can't do that in a world accustomed to Amazon. 2. 1 mouthpiece was cracked. 3. Reservoir was not included in the original order. 4. No phone support or even chat! 5-star for the product if the kinks get worked out!
