You cannot complete checkout with a subscription unless you specifically choose that option. We made it impossible to get a subscription without actively choosing how often you'd like it to renew not only to be useful to you, the customer, but also so no one could accuse us of any inappropriate business practice. We do offer refunds and also send a reminder before the renewal date, giving customers time to review or cancel their subscription before being charged. Inaccurate claims about our business practices could stop people from getting care from a company who truly wants to help as many humans as we can. Nobody is automatically enrolled in a subscription. During checkout, customers must actively choose between a one-time purchase and a subscription with a selected renewal frequency. And contrary to your claim, using the credit yourself or gifting it to a friend are not your only options. We also offer refunds, subject to our refund policy. We understand that it's easy to forget about something you selected a year earlier. But forgetting about a subscription is not the same as being forced into one. We've been helping people access affordable blood testing for more than 20 years, and we take transparency seriously. Thank you for being a repeat customer. We're glad you've found our service convenient and that your experiences have been mostly smooth. We'd love to know in what way it didn't go smoothly so we can improve. We do want to correct one important point: Our reviews are not paid reviews. We do not pay customers to leave positive reviews, request 5-star ratings, or require anyone to say something favorable about us. What we do offer is an optional rewards program that gives customers opportunities to earn store credit by completing additional activities. We clearly explain that leaving a review does not automatically earn a reward, and any review can be positive, negative, or somewhere in between. That said, if you felt overwhelmed by requests to leave a review, that's fair feedback. We certainly don't want customers to feel pressured, and we'll take that into account. As for pricing, we're glad you recognize the convenience we provide. We offer access to thousands of tests, nationwide lab locations, responsive support seven days a week, 7 days a week support and the ability to order blood work without the usual doctor visits and delays. We're constantly investing to make your experience better. We appreciate your continued business, but we also ask that you distinguish between an optional rewards program and paying people for positive reviews. Those are two different things.
