I purchased a Pride Mobility lift chair Viva Metro in October. Approximately three months after purchasing it I noticed the seat began sinking. When I called the store I was told this was the new design. The seat continued to flatten in the middle, making it very uncomfortable. I contacted the store. They contacted Pride. Pride sent one of their representatives to see the chair. He did see the dip and said he would report back to the company. The store that sold the chair called to offer me a gel seat cushion. Pride did not offer to correct the seat or replace the chair. After paying almost 2,000.00 I can only encourage people not to buy this chair. It is a very poor design and the company did nothing to resolve this problem

What real shame, this chair would be great if they sorted VivaLift. I purchased this chair as it had the the ability to control it with the VivaLift app, as I cannot use my hands and was going to use the app with voice control software. But as the chair left the factory with it connect to another device, I cannot connect to it. This is a known problem and been reported but as of yet no action has happened to reslove it. So be careful when you buy it and checked at delivery you can connect to it, not all chairs have this problem.

We purchased the Stretto wheelchair in the spring of 2024. The problems began shortly afterward. The front wheelskept breaking one after another. We had to replace three of them in just a few weeks. Pride Mobility Spain refused toacknowledge that the wheels were defective and made us pay for the replacements (except for the third one, whenthey finally realized that an entire batch of wheels had manufacturing issues). Instead of admitting the extremely poorquality of these wheels, they blamed the problems on “improper driving” of the chair (which is absolutely false). Theproof is that since the last wheel replacement, the front wheels have had no further issues. As if that were not enough, the anti-tip sensor cable—which, incomprehensibly, had been glued with some kind ofadhesive to the underside of the footrest bracket—came unstuck. The cable detached and began catching on anysmall obstacle on the ground until it eventually snapped… leaving my son without mobility until I was able to repair itmyself. To top it off, one of the shock absorbers broke, and I requested a replacement (within the two-year warranty period).Pride Mobility Spain refused to supply the spring free of charge, claiming it had been damaged “due to use” andtherefore was not covered under the warranty. In summary, this is an extremely expensive wheelchair (over €13,348—more than USD 15,000, the price of a car)that has constantly presented problems due to poor-quality materials or blatant design flaws (a cable glued to thebottom of the chair, exposed to coming loose and breaking at any moment). The Spanish representative of PrideMobility’s attitude is deplorable in refusing to replace defective parts free of charge. The shop which sold us the wheelchair (Ortopedia Nervion) has contacted several times the person in charge oftechnical support at Pride Mobility España - Mr Fernando Pérez- to impress upon him that these issues should becovered by the two years guarantee, but this has been to no avail. Before submitting the issue to the spanish customer authorities I want to inform you of the very poor service ofyour spanish representative. You can check the very negative reviews of Pride Mobility Spain in Google.

I have a pride wheelchair now for three years. It broke down within 12 months. With a lot of discussion (and weeks of waiting while I’m fully depending on an electric chair) it got replaced. The replacement started to have malfunctions within weeks. However, pride has no spareparts on stock, so you have to wait and wait. Now one engine has broken down (21 months old…). I now have to pay for 2 engines since they don’t replace only one… And again…weeks of waiting and no solution in sight. I strongly advise not to buy any pride Products.
